From based just on what I read about Mr. Tom Biscardi I am skeptical as this is not the first time he has claimed to have been in possession of a bigfoot. I recall around 2005 he claimed to have seen (in person and at close range) two of these creatures that had been captured. When the unveiling news conference date arrived he claimed that someone had kidnapped the creatures.
Then, after looking at the pictures Biscardi and the BigFoot Trackers provided, I am even more skeptical. The intestines noted in the article did not appear to be bloated by decomposition which seems odd since Bicardi claimed that gasses pushed them out of the body cavity.
Professor Jeffery Meldrum, a well known bigfoot researcher and anthropologist noted his skepticism today after studying the pictures. I will have to agree with Meldrum and say that, until proven otherwise, that Bicardi is perpetuating another hoax. Furthermore, I will speculate that, for reasons beyond his control, Bicardi will claim something happened to the body at the press conference and it is no longer in his possession. Just like his last claim in 2005. I would certainly respect Professor Meldrum's conclusion should he be able to inspect the body and verify the Tom Bicardi's claims. At this time, considering the source of this remarkable claim, I am more apt to believe in Santa Clause than Bigfoot.
Biscardi asked: "Was this all bologna?" They may well have used deli meats to fake the intestines, but no one has provided any evidence that this Big Foot is made of anything but baloney.
The DNA will prove if it is real or not. I know first hand that they are real. There are way too many places in the world where humans and electronics dont go/work. The guts of the creature sticking out could have been caused by gas. once the gas exspands and causes the "blow out" the gas starts to go away. None of us know for sure how long the guts had been out of the body b4 the picture was taken. Time will tell if it is real.

If it is not a hoax, I would like to know how this creature was killed. I have been interested in the Sasquatch creatures and have seen all the shows, books and pictures as everyone else here. However it hs long been my fear that these creatures once found would be hunted down and killed or captured and placed in a lab or zoo somewhere.
Men will never tire of killing. We will tire of wine and women first. I hope it is a hoax. If not I hope the government goes in and confiscates the body and never lets anyone see it. If found out not to be a hoax men will hunt these creatures to extinction.
After watching the Discovery channel tonight I say why not? Why shouldn't they exist? There are so many animals that haven't been discovered even people. Look at the native village found only a couple months ago. They were so remote they were only just discovered. Even if ths is not true I will still beleive they exist. If it is true I'd hope that the government puts a law against killing these creatures. However they (bigfoot) have seemed to do a great job of not having human contact for as long as they have existed. Anything is possible. You never know. In addition until it's determined to either be true or hoax, you shouldn't pass judgement on the men who founded the Bigfoot until scientists find the truth. In my opinion the men were right in not giving the location or calling anyone about the discovery. People would be flocking to the location and if they had called anyone other than a "Bigfoot tracker" we (the people) may have never known. It would be a wonderful discovery. And for Tom Biscardi maybe he has been involved a or multiple hoax's before, but it could be a case of the little boy who cried wolf. This time it could be real.
Trajan1776 "Rednecks"? If they were Black I wonder what derogatory term you would have used? As for firearms, they are just tools. I would not worry too much about truck loads of primitive Southerners are going to hunt down these creatures, if they exist. If these things do exist then they have already been encountered by hunters; hunters who decided not to pull the trigger in spite of their genetic and socio-economic backgrounds.
If this is a hoax it is a pretty elaborate one, not bad for a couple gun toting good ol' boys. If it proves to be true, it will definitely cause a great deal of tooth gnashing in academia. My won't that be fun to watch. The initial DNA tests, if I am not mistaken, mention human and possum DNA. So either these things are giant marsupials that just happened to trot up the evolutionary ladder in a way that would really shake things up,(of course if they are part possum we would have seen them quite a bit by now, flattened out in the middle of our highways) or the DNA lab used was the same one used during the OJ trial. This bit of info points strait to hoax. Too bad, great big scary things in the woods of the deep south would do wonders for keeping city folks in their concrete canyons. Frankly I would much rather have Bigfoots (bigfeet?) as neighbors than say a pack of Harvard lawyers. I have experienced the former, they knock over the garbage cans, leave brie rinds in the yard, and if you ask them to kindly cut their grass they bring a lawsuit against you.
99% of the time I am a skeptic when it comes to stories of this kind. In this case I am very doubtful of the claims made by those involved. However, if this is not a hoax and all of the previous bigfoot evidence and encounters are fabrications, what happens if someone measures this creature's feet and they turn out to be very small?

"I thought i had to add water to the freezer" please are you that much of a dope that you can't read the directions.. oh, yea.. plug it in..... and that a$$wipe of a bigfoot hunter.. another joke..if it was a real find, there would have been an entire powerpoint presentation showing numerous photos, that would have answered most questions, 30 minutes plus, to see a photo of tongue and teeth? a blurry video pic, (even though the claim was that the photos for once were clear) what would have been perfect at yesterday's press conference would have been the song "dueling banjos" playing in ght e background. People like that should be brought up on charges.. oh did I mention they're idiots
well I dont know if what they have is real or not I am native amercan and in the tahachape mountains is where my tribe live I have seen with my own eyes 4 times in 40 years the bigfoot my people just leave it alone and it leaves us alone its really big and it would not be smart to hunt it and piss it off--the storys about it with my people tell me its not just some big ape type it is very smart more human in thought then animal by the incounters with my people over the years tribesman on hunts have seen them in family groups and come home to let others know where they are and where we should not go-----------just leave them in peace I hope the one found is not real if it is there will be hunters out for killing ----why do you think no UFO land and greet us---because when they pass over earth they say dont land here theres no intellagent life there
If this is a real bigfoot, then why would a trained former police officer confiscate the body? He should know better than to disturb the scene and keep the body from authorities, especially if he's going to go public with it.
Also, why hasn't Georgia Fish and Game investigated into the unauthorized confiscation of a non-game animal? And possible poaching? Plus, considering some of the DNA presented to a lab has come back as human, why haven't police investigated into the possible murder or other death of a human being?
