can a bed sheet or cover be used for a parachute?

nope, it isn't large enough and it would have to have strings to anchor it. plus, if i am correctly guessing what you are thinking. you can't jump out of a building with it. you need close to probably 500 or so feet before a parachute of the accurate size would be able to deploy.
