Doug and Jimmy should do an episode on ninpo. One of them should train with Soke Masaaki Hatsumi at his school in Chiba prefecture under the bujinkan and the other should train in the genbukan under Tanemura.

Agreed.
This would definately test them, and make an episode I couldn't miss.

Personally, as Human Weapon already did Bujinkan in their program (plus some extra stuff), I would prefer to see a Fight Quest Ninjutsu episode focus on Genbukan Ninpo (I don't just say that cuz I train in the Genbukan). It could be done in a way similar to the Kyokushin episode, but with Doug and Jimmy training with the Genbukan Honbu shihan. As for the final challenge, would be great to see some live taijutsu and weapons work (done safely, of course).

But HW did such a bad job on that episode! I'm with the first poster, send Jimmy and Doug to each of Takamatsu-sensei's student's schools and see how it goes.

As much as many of us (myself included) would want to see both Bujinkan and Genbukan training in the same program, my main concern would be that Hatsumi Sensei and Tanemura Sensei would not want to be involved in the program if both schools are to be represented. Remember, there is a rift between Hatsumi Sensei and Tanemura Sensei, which is pretty heavy stuff.

Now, if a "Fight Quest" Ninjutsu episode was done, say as a two or three-parter, then maybe in each episode, Jimmy and Doug could train with Bujinkan, Genbukan, and Jinenkan (under Manaka Unsui Sensei), without there being any problems. Of course, I'm no expert in TV production matters, so I wouldn't know the first lick about putting this together Confused

They've probably filmed all the episodes already, but here's hoping they found time to go back to Japan and worked things out with Hatsumi-sensei and/or Tanemura-sensei.
