My husband is always commenting that I have too many pairs of shoes--which I think is ridiculous! Recently though in the quest to see how many I really have I started a blog where I post a picture of each pair of shoes I am wearing that day. Thought some other shoe obsessed gals may enjoy seeing them.

ha--not tools but toys! (he collects action figured from the 1980's)--but then again I also collect My Little Pony--so we have a house full of stuff!

I checked out your blog, and can't help but wonder how you store over 54 pairs of shoes? What's your organizational method?

I also have 'too many shoes.' A great organizational tool are these over-the-door racks.

Only instead of using them over doors, I nailed up a 1" wood strip across the back wall a large storage (non-clothes-hanging) closet and installed them there. I have two side-by-side and they are perfect for seeing everything at once.

Since gb1 has so many flats, a solution like this would allow you to double the space by placing each pair in a single space- top-to-top.

well I stopped the blog but I have bought at least 6 new pairs and there are probably about 5 pairs of heels I just didn't wear.

My organizational strategy is winter/summer--then I have about 15 pairs at all time organized in my coat closet and the rest of the summer in a bin in the garage--then it gets swapped out with the season!

You've got lovely feet and an enviable shoe collection! I guess you should let your husband watch documentaries about Imelda Marcos to show him how many is "many"!
