I saw the commercial for these the other day and ordered a set. Has anyone else tried them? I like full hair, and I'm no good at teasing it. My hairdresser told me to bring them in when they come and she will see what she can do with them.
I still have never worn them. It seems that you still have to do some teasing to your hair before you put them in, and you still may need pins to hold them. I intend to take them to my stylist the next time I go. Some of the other stylists have used them on clients, and that's how I heard about what you need to do with them.
To get them to look right is complicated. My daughter and I FINALLY figured it out. You separate the hair that you want to go OVER the bumpit and tease it. Then you tease the hair that will be UNDER the bumpit.
I bought Bump-it's a few months ago and still haven't got enough courage to wear them out! I have very straight, shoulder length hair, and I found that they didn't feel secure on my head.
I think it would be super embarassing if the wind took hold of it or my hair shifted and the clip showed through! haha... Maybe the next time I go out and have time to fuss with my hair I will take the extra time to really tease my hair before using them.
