We remodeled this kitchen all on our own on a very small budget. We stripped all the paint on the woodwork and cabinets, then added trim to the cabinets, new stain and hardware. We then added a slate backaplash and restored the hardwood floors. My husband had to build cabinets on one side of the room to match exisiting ones. It turned out super, considering this is the first carpentry job ever! Let us know what you think!
