Anyone who has said that they hate this show, think again. This is my favorite show! Lieutenant Michael Scott is my hero! This is one of the best shows on Animal Planet, and I love it! They are all profesinal unlike Houston + Detroit. Please everybody respond, because it is the best show (same with horse Power)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it depends on one's perspective, but making remarks that Houston and Detroit are not "profesinal" might, rofl, get some real dander up. The Houston and NYC threads in particular have some real devoted folks supporting their efforts.

To me, all the animal cops on all these series do a fine job with the animals, within the policies and laws they have to operate under.

Animal Cops San Francisco is a great show for anyone who thinks all dogs are "dangerous" and euthanasia is handed out more than dog food.

I watch these Animal Cop shows to see those whose job it is to put the concern of animals as the primary concern, not humans.

I hate the week they air San Francisco. I won't watch such a heartless oganiztion that tries to pass its self off as protecting animals when it is quite the contrary.

To all amimals in San Francisco....RUN!!!!!

I can agree with you on this point. They do seem to be very professional and well versed on protocol.

I can’t help think what would happen to my animal family if I lived in San Francisco…

Lexi, 13 yr old rescue dog has chase drive, although she’s handicapped after back surgery and wobble walk...Death to Lexi!

Kodak, 5 yr old shepherd, barks at all dogs that pass the house or while going on a walk...Death to Kodak!

Chloe, 4 yr old pointer/lab mix and Jagger, 18 month old shepherd, both so enthusiastically friendly, may jump up to lick you… Death to Chole and Jagger!

Zelda, Trixie and Matilda, tortoises, have a habit of hanging around your feet while in the backyard. Could be a trip hazard… Death to Zelda, Trixie and Matilda!

Emily, 10 year old cat, has a superiority complex. Can’t have that. Sysco, 4 yr old cat, misses the litter box sometimes, a health hazard. Tabitha, 2 yr old cat, a complete menace and likes to knock things off the counter including glasses breaking them. Someone could get cut...Death to Emily, Sysco, and Tabitha!

With one “bang” of the gavel, think how much safer mankind would be if I didn’t have such a “dangerous” bunch???!!!!!

"Are they not then just doing there job."

Yep, for San Francisco, that pretty much sums up their job. I'm still wondering why they call them "animal heroes!?"

This is what I found about Animal Heroes:"This forum is dedicated to the dedicated men and women who protect pets from coast to coast."

Precisely, and how do professional executioners fit that bill unless all animals are suicidal?

Animal Plant is the one that who commented about dedicated men and women. You were the one that called them professional executioners. Its your description. I can't determine why you referred to the lawmakers in San Francisoco as Professional executioners.

OK, I tried this before but Mod_Kelly nixed it. I makes my point.

I can’t help think what would happen to my animal family if I lived in San Francisco...

Lexi, 13 yr old rescue dog has chase drive, although she’s handicapped after back surgery and wobble walks...Execute Lexi!

Kodak, 5 yr old shepherd, barks at all dogs that pass the house or while going on a walk...Execute Kodak!

Chloe, 4 yr old pointer/lab mix and Jagger, 18 month old shepherd, both so enthusiastically friendly, may jump up to lick you...Execute Chole and Jagger!

Zelda, Trixie and Matilda, tortoises, have a habit of hanging around your feet while in the backyard. Could be a trip hazard… Execute Zelda, Trixie and Matilda!

Emily, 10 year old cat, has a superiority complex. Can’t have that. Sysco, 4 yr old cat, misses the litter box sometimes, a health hazard. Tabitha, 2 yr old cat, a complete menace and likes to knock things off the counter including glasses breaking them. Someone could get cut...Execute Emily, Sysco, and Tabitha!

With one “drop” of the gavel, think how much safer mankind would be if I didn’t have such a “dangerous” bunch???!!!!!

Laws are only laws and God knows how much discretion there is with actual enforcement. The last time I looked, there were laws against molesting and raping children. How many cases do we hear about the predators getting off with 60 days probation or nothing?

This show AC, San Francisco is obsessed with killing animals. Since these so called “heroes” work with law enforcement and the courts, they are part of the process. I’ve never seen an episode with a hint of compassion for animals. Their motto is to protect the public from these so called “dangerous” creatures and according to their laws, all animals are “dangerous.” Why don’t they just do a show about human heroes, “Protectors of Humans Against Animals.” We’ll call it POHAA.

I have tried to post a comment illustrating my point twice today and it hasn’t cleared Mod_Kelly. I don’t know what the problem is. It seems harmless enough to me.

Well, some choose to look at the darker side of things, and others choose not to. I have faith that the lawmakers in my area are responsible folks doing overall what they think best for the community. I also feel that the lawmakers are doing the best for their community. I do not see their obession with killing. I refer to my original comment "They do seem to be very professional and well versed on protocol." This was, and still is, as compared to Houston and Detroit.

Houston and Detroit officers at least are passionate about animals, even if the laws are lame. I don't see their main focus as killing animals as in San Francisco. The BTK killer was also in animal control and he liked to torture animals as well as people.

See my post above 08/11/06 at 7:27pm. It pretty much sums up San Francisco in a nut-shell.
