When I was married for the second time, I thought combining our things would be a nightmare. Thankfully, right before the wedding, he received a promotion and we had to move. We went through everything and split everything up, and what we didn't need was sent to goodwill or given to family.
After we arrived at the new location, we unpacked the trucks. When we went to unload the mattresses, they were soaked and reeked with mold. My mattress as well as my daughters were virtually ruined.
We had a night on sleeping bags, but called 1-800 Mattress the next morning. They came with two mattresses that SAME DAY! The servicemen were wonderful and even got rid of the ruined matresses. I think our beds are even more comfortable than they had been and they were quite inexpensive.
I guess I have been spoiled most of my life, and maybe I am discovering something that everyone has known about, but I had seen commercials for 1-800 Matress but never would consider buying a matress over the phone. However, after such a harrowing move, it was just such a nice experience and made our misfortune just a tiny hiccup.
I hate to sound like someone from a commercial, but I was really thrilled and wanted to highly recommend this service!

Wow.. Thanks for the good advice! I've never heard of 1-800-Mattress .. atleast I dont remember seeing the commercial. I wonder if they deliver in Canada also?
Would be good to know for a mattress emergency like that!
