When she's running and they film her from behind, she looks like a coconut with limbs. I love her. I think she should be able to rule the group. It's a shame the males have to be such terrorising tyrants. I was mad at Eugene too for the way he treated her.
Xena should triumph.
But to ask a completely different question, why is Xena so small? I thought she was as old as the other "infants" in the area but she's such a little gal.
A coconut with limbs? That's funny! The narrator of the show will be on live next week to answer questions about the show, so tune in and ask him. I think he will be on when Chimp Eden airs at 9:00pm Eastern time in the United States.
I agree! There have been a couple scenes of different episodes where Eugene shows the Chimps that he is in charge and that's so they know that they cannot hit him at any times, and so they understand that he is the real ALPHA in the sanctuary. My studies are not so much Chimps, or any species of Monkey's, but studying large cats and Bears, I know what it means for a human to show the animals they are taking care of who is the dominant person.
If Eugene had not established his dominance over Zeena, he ran the risk of Zeena upsetting Joao while he (Eugene) was in the enclosure. Should this happen there was a serious risk of Joao attacking Eugene.
