Not sure if this is the place to put in my request to surprise my friend with a gourmet meal prepared by Chef Stone but here goes...
I coach a Masters swim team in Oakland CA and have been blessed to be surrounded by some of the most amazing people I am proud to have come to consider as family over the past 10 years. One of our long time members, Sylvie, is moving back to her native France this summer. She will be retiring after 30+ years of teaching, is a breast cancer survivor and an all around inspiring, positive driving force in every respect. For the last 3-4 years some of us gals on the team have gotten together for brunch a few times a year. A unique blend of ages (20's - 60's), life experiences and eccentricities have created a bond between us that will leave a noticable hole when Sylvie moves. It is with humble appeal that I ask Chef Stone to help create a magical meal for one final brunch with Sylvie to celebrate all she is to us and the wonderful memories we will forever have.
