Ok so, my family got this cat for free named gizmo about 4 years ago. He was a good kitty. Then two years after that we got another cat for free from these people moving away. This was a she and her name was Casper. About a year after we got Casper she started peeing in the laundry room on our clean clothes. We thought she had a mental problem so we took her to this rescue place. Then a few months after that Gizmo started peeing on rugs i diffrent areas of my house. Now we keep Gizmo outside on our porch. He's not an outside cat so someone please help and tell me what is wrong and what should I do.

Some cats are very picky and will not use a litterbox period. I have a cat like that and she goes outside to do her business. Some cats are very particular about how clean the litterbox is, where it is, or the type of litter you use. Mix things up. If that doesn't work, take the cat to the vet and have it checked out for a UTI.
