I don't have a favorite, love all kitties. Of course, I love all animals too, and Animal Planet is my fav, even better now that I can watch in high definition
I think Domestic Shorthair is another word for "mixed breed cat with short hair". Both my cats are listed at the vet's as Domestic Shorthair, and we have no idea what breeds they come from.
I have my little angel boy, Blueberry who is a Siamese/Snowshoe mix, and I just love him to death! He was very unexpected, as we rescued him. He was abandoned on the side of the highway at about 3 weeks old. Now 3 months, he is doing great!
I have been doing lots of research, and am soon going to get a Bengal. They are AMAZING and Georgeous cats. I can't wait!!! So I would have said a Bengal (until Blueberrry came into my life), but my little Blueberry makes such an amazing kitty. He is so playful (and occasionally wild), but settles down at bedtime and curls around my head! He lets me give him baths, and blow dry him. Plus he gets along great with our mini dachshund!
