I love hamsters but don't own one so that is why I don't talk about them.

Small and exotic pets (specifically rodents such as rats, hamsters, and mice) don't seem to get much love around here, really. ::laughs:: Small mammals need their own sub-board!

i love hamsters! I even have one of my own. i would be willing to talk aboout them. but like rattyazzy said, they should have their own sub-board!

i like gerbils and i started out with 2 "males" and ended up with 33.

I love hamsters, but i don't own one 'cause my dog would go crazy if i have one. every time we go to the pet shop she sit and watch them for as long as we are in the store.

i love hamsters! i just dont have one even though i wish i did.

I had a silver longhair hamster when I was a kid. His name was Pepsi. He was the neatest little creature. My dad used to carry him around in his pocket. I sure did love that little guy.

I used to have two hamsters....but a few years ago they both passed away. Ever since then, I've just stuck with cats

I had hamsters years ago... too much work for me. They are really cute though! I like watching them at the pet store.

i love our two hamster but really they are not much trouble and have few problems. guess that is why they are not tops on the topic list. but still are wonderful pets. i'm suprised sometimes in just how smart they are.

i've had many hamsters before. i remember 2 of them the most. they were named peppermint and peppermint jr. =) but then a week or two later peppermint started to become ill and peppermint jr. brang food up to him. it was so cute. but then, eventually they both died and i got another one. the one i have now is named nibbles but i call him hammy =)

Persnally, I don't really care for hamsters.
I prefer bigger animals, which is why we breed 22 lb. Flemish Giant rabbits!

I luv hamsters it is just the only reason i dont like them that much is because you start off with 2 hamsters and end up with triple that amount
