How do you get tar off a dog without using harmful chemicals? The tar is on her fur in-between her pads, I got the rocks and stuff off but I would like to get the tar off her fur. I looked on line and came up with WD-40, baby oil, cleaning chemicals. Dose anyone know something better that works?

We got the tar off, my dad used goo gone because it's a natural oil, but I won't ever use it on her again, she had a bad reaction to it her paws turned red and she wouldn't stop licking them. It took over an hour for her to stop running around and droping to the floor to lick her paws, even after a bath. After an hour nap on my lap she seems to be back to herself, no licking or acting weird. I will still take sujestions to remove tar in case I need to get it off her again.
