I have an african spurred tortoise named spike but we call him turdy butt. Hes about 8 years old and weights about 80lbs. when we got him he was only 2 yrs old and about 4lbs and the women who sold him to us didn't take very good care of him so his shell is a little deformed. she kept him in a 5 gallon aquirium and he couldn't even turn around. so his shell started to grow up instead of out. Hes starting to look a lot better but you can still see his shell is a little high.
