Here is the link that tells you of dealers in your area:

http://www.chickensoupforthepetloverssoul.com/dealer_locator/

However, I know you have a restricted computer, so if you tell me your state, or a zip code I could list the dealers that are in your area for you.

Would Blue Buffalo rate higher than Chicken Soup... or no? I believe our PETSMART carries Welness and Avo... gotta double check on Tuesday, though. I'll make a list as to what they carry.

I personally don't think it does, the ingredients don't stack up as well as CS.

You're best bet is to read the labels, buy what you think is right for your dogs, and then adjust as needed.

How much do you think mine would eat? I feed 24 cups a day. I free feed, and it lasts from 7AM until the next morning (there are always a few pebbles left in each bowl). This is between an adult, an older pup, and then the 4 month old. (Gotta go walk them... be back in 45 minutes to an hour.)

I would stop free feeding and set up a time schedule. Read the bag only they can tell you how much you should feed your dog according to their formula.

I prefer free feeding with my dogs. None of them are overweight. All of them are well muscled and in great health.

I hope I didn't come off as rude. Two year old is awake and running around.

Free feeding just works better with my household schedule. None of my dogs have ever been overweight. When we were doing the schedule, the 1 year old was slightly underweight. We switched to free feeding and if anyone starts to look heavy (which hasn't happened for almost a year), we'll cut back on the food of up the activity level.

My girlfriend doesn't have a set schedule, and I work third shift, so there's no way they can be put on a feeding schedule. If her schedule weren't as hectic, it'd be easier... but I'd rather stick with what's working, feeding wise. It's just the food that I was lokoing to change.

I do a set schedule as well, I used to free feed, and I found I saved a bundle of money buy feeding them just so much a day.

75 lb. dog gets between 3 to 3.5 cups
30 lb. dog gets 1 heaping cup
9 lb. dog gets heaping 1/4 cup
7 lb. dog gets 1/4 cup

I feed them as soon as I wake up in the morning, and I'm done with it.

I also do a schedule. It's easier and it makes my dog's day when I shout 'dinner!' My beagles is a little pig she would eat more then she was supposed to and would guard the food from my other dog. I split it up, half their food in the morning and half at night.

I only fill up their bowls in the morning, when I get home. It lasts them all day. It takes 24 cups to fill up all three bowls.

One dog weighs in at 160 something pounds, his son weighs in at 150 something pounds, and the pup is around 50-60, now.

They never empty the bowls early in the day. In fact, there's always some pebbles left in the bottom of the bowl when I feed the next morning.

But how do you know how much each dog is eating? I always like to know how much and how well my dogs are eating. Sounds like your dogs do fine on the free feeding schedule, but I know few dogs that can.

We don't know two a "T" as to how much they eat, but none of our dogs is fat, and no one is getting thin.

I guess we're just lucky.

I also free feed. I always use the same dry food so I think she just eats to sustain. If I were to add table scraps and other extras to her food, we may have a problem. My dog has actually put herself on a schedule. She eats half of her bowl around 4:00pm and the other half around 10:00pm. But now that I think of it, I don't know any other dogs that are free fed. I suppose it is a little unusual.

Ours just kind of graze. No one really lingers at the food bowls for long periods of time. We've also got two of those waterers that hold 2.75 gallons in the kitchen. When we move into a house, we're going to get a few more of those. They're a life saver when you have giant dogs. They sure love water. (Though, the boys will flip the toilet lid open if they finish off the water while we're not home. The pup has a water bottle on her crate.)
