I am looking to find out if other dog parks provide wading pools for dogs and if so how they manage the mud issue?

My dog park is on a lake. They actually have a beach area for the dogs. There is a long dock that goes out about 40 feet into the lake. There are several ramps off the dock for the dogs to climb up onto. A wading pool seems like a bad idea. The water would get so dirty. In the summer it would also get warm and could breed all kinds of gross things. It would HAVE to be changed at least daily.
