I have been lookin for info about my health issue with no luck. Maybe someone can help direct me to the right area. Heres my story: I received the depo shot 2yrs ago, I gained 70lbs. I went from 120 to 140 within 2 months then gained 25 more the next 5 months. doctors put me on Phinamine to try and help slow the weight gain, but every 5lbs I lost I gained 7lbs. then I moved and had to find new doctors. The new doctors told me it was an age thing or an eating thing. Well I was 25 when I moved 2 years ago not that old! As for my eating - I have normal eating habits. As for exercise, until this year I have Always been very active-hiking, light rock climbing, traveling, swinging, well let me be honest am a little wild. I have had all the blood test done at least 4 times - guess what i have a over active thirode! not suppose to gain weight the doc's say and shake their head then go back to trying to say its normal to gain this wiehgt or its my fault!
This year I am up to 187 (31.1 BWI) and now I am getting very depressed, I have shortness of breath, my knee's and feet hurt even go numb sometimes, and worse of all I seem to be sleepy all the time. I want to know what is causing this weight gain, the doctors here don't seem to believe me when I say something is wrong. I have even tried bringing in my picture books to show my life weight before this. I am hoping I can get some answers to what is wrong, so I dont have to pay the high price of all the surgery's i would need to get back to my normal again. I refuse to get to 200 so from what my average weight gain is, I have 3 months so I am ready to try surgery to help with the weight loss and other damages to my body from this rapid weight gain. But what is the least expensive for a total body lol. I need reductions in my thighs,hips, butt, stomick, neck, and upper arms. MY breasts l.ost most feeling from the weight gain and after many visits to the doctor avbout sharp pains i was haveing I was told it was the loss of firmness from the size gain lol (they used more tech wording), so more or less I need a breast lift. now did i mention I am a single mother and am not rich, so I will have to pay for all this the rest of my life! But as stupid as that sound I still want my life back, I hate not fiting in any of my cloths, being able to play with daughter with out pain, not hicking.. I feel like i lost my life .. So any advice/help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
