I have enjoyed all the Big Medicine shows. They helped me get ready for my surgery, 5/30. I started out schudled for a RNY but a week before surgery I was changed to a Lap-Band. The change was due to medical considerations. The show gave me a education, so I know I will lose the weight I need to lose. I knew I need the surgery with Dr. Garth Davis, but the show help the rest of the family to understand what is and will go on.

I agree with everyone else...PLEASE keep this show!!! This show gives me hope and motivation and I LOVE Dr Garth and his dad!

What happened to this show. Why is there nothing on this website about when it will return. I had the gastric sleeve and heard they did an episode about the sleeve which I missed. Does anyone know if they will show that rerun some time. I need info. the Big Medicine website does not give any updated information. Whats up with that?

Please don't cancel the show, Big Medicine. Ieally enjoyed the show and wanted to see follow ups on some of the patients that I have seen. I think the show is informative for anyone considering surgery. It is a shame to lose such an interesting and informative show.

I saw the episode where Allen walked in the pool, it was awesome. Dr. Garth and I believe 2 other men were in the pool. They basically just rolled him off the stretcher and the 3 guys guided him in until he hit the water and became buoyant. Then they straightened him out, stood him up and he walked. Discovery Health has an episode with him on July 9th, but that's all they have. They are showing the same show 3 times in a row on July 9th. I just don't understand why Discovery Channel doesn't just pick up this show! Maybe the July 9th episode is a test to see what the ratings are. Please Discovery Channel, put that show on the air, you will be glad you did. TLC

Please DO CANCEL. I've never, ever been full, like the girl on the commercial, but because of people in my family who are overweight, I restrict what I eat so that I do not look like them, nor take the easy way out and just have a simple surgery to take care of the problem. Yes I agree, I'm tired of Jon and Kate as well, but lets get some new shows on there, enough of the obese, just do it the easy way junk!

Please, we need this show, all I have heard around home is how dangerous it is and it makes your life miserable and what a mistake it would be to do it. I think I need it, and this show has educated me on how effective it can be. I have some questions I have sent to the docs, I hope I get answers, and hope this show comes back. One of the best and most educational shows on tv right now!!

Were is Big Medicine? I look forward to the show every week but cannot find it.. Why did you take it off the air.. It was educational , and exhilarating. Please put it back on the air.. We need the doctors don't get it twisted .. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please...... BRING THE DOCTORS BACK!!!!

I have looked forward to all the Big Medicine shows and the good that the doctors have done. I am in need of wls but my insurance does not cover anything related to wls. I sure hope that the show is not cancelled.

Please, TLC, do not cancel Big Medicine! This show is very informative but, at the same time, compassionate in dealing with the very real life issues of the obese and their families. It is upfront in chronicling the medical, physical and emotional concerns they live with. This show has an impact on many, many people!

This is a good show that does a lot to help inform the community. I never missed and episode...Please continue the show!!

OMG! Please do not cancel this show. It is one of my FAVORITES! If you must cancel something, cancel those ROLOFFS! They are not nearly as interesting or informative as BIG MEDICINE! I live in Lincolnton NC and I watch this show every time I can find it, which has not been too often lately and those were reruns, but I watch the reruns! Please keep BIG MEDICINE on, and at a reasonable time and day! THANKS
