Yeah!! I am so happy for you! I have been wondering all week how you were. Since I was meeting with Austin tomorrow I was going to check with him on your progress. Glad it is over for you. I know you must be ecsatic along with very sore!! LOL Take care and get some rest. I will check in with you through OH in a few days. Congrats again!

Things went well. I am sitting here now, waiting to see the two surgeons so I can get released to go home. This has been an incredibly tough week, but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. Again, thank you to all of you who sent me good thoughts and prayed for me and my surgeons!

Hi Kim! I am so glad I checked the TLC message board! I have thought about you all week and was SO happy to see your post, see things went well and that you are heading home! YOU GO, GIRL!! My heart and prayers for you to have the easiest, quickest recovery!! Darcy

Hey! I got to come home on Monday, Sept. 10 in the evening. It was really nice to be able to come home! I am tired and sore, but I'm doing very, very well. It is the most amazing thing to be able to look down and see the top of my thighs...I've NEVER been able to do that in my entire life! It is just incredible. And I have a belly button that is not a big, long stretched out "thing"...it is amazing to me.

I'm incredibly grateful to Jeff Friedman, my plastic surgeon, for his great work in getting rid of the excess skin, and to Garth Davis, for fixing the problems they encountered with previous hernias and the other mess in there. These two surgeons are the very best, and I am fortunate to be in their hands.

I am also grateful to all of the fans of the show who have kept me in their prayers and thoughts as I go through this. It has been just under two weeks since the surgery, and I can't tell you how amazed I am that I feel so good so soon!
