I desprately seek medical attention for help with obesity (I hate that word)...I have no insurance and I feel like I have no hope. I'm at a brick wall. I'm 38 and weigh over 300lbs. I dont want to die. I feel this sense of urgency to get help and I just dont know what to do anymore. If you dont have insurance it seems your left to die. What do you do?????

Whatever you do, dont give up; recognize what you need, what you need to do, explore options, think outside of the box, join a support group; there are plenty of good resources in Houston, but if you are not in Houston, seek oher services through non profits and governmental sources. You recognize that you need to lose the weight; now take steps to progress towards that goal even if it is one tiny step at a time. did you know that by simply elminating 500 calories per day you can lose one pound a week. You have got to start somewhere. There are plenty of other little things you can do. You can do it!!!! I hope this has helped.
