Did I miss something? was last week tthe last episode of the season of Big Medicine?
I can't find a listing for it next week...when does a new episode come on again if not..?

Yes that was the last episode of Season 1. But Season 2 is on its way! I have heard possibly beginning in January.

I think the ones that are being shown beginning September 12 are re-runs. They are being shown on the Discovery Health Channel, not TLC.
