My guy did a real good job at suprising me. He had always wanted to take me up in a helicopter ride. He was home from Army basic training/AIT training in December and he decided that was the time. I worked from 3AM till noon. One day he told me to come home and take a nap and he would call me when he wanted me to come down to the helicopter business. I was nervous about going up in one, but he managed to keep his cool and not let on what he was about to do. We flew over our house in Sevierville, around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. When we were over the Smoky Mountains near Wears Valley, he looked at me and said I have a question. I looked at him as he was trying to get the box out of his coat pocket. He smiled and said, "Will you marry me!" I told him yes, but asked him to say it again because I couldn't believe it was actually happening to me!

Andrew and I spent two weeks traveling around Ireland. We spent an amazing day at giants causeway on the antrim coast looking at rocks (he's a geologist) We drove west about five miles and ended up at Dunluce Castle. We were the only people there and we walked up into a tower. The view was amazing. The rain let up just enough that a rainbow peeked out above the contrasting ocean and grass. He looked over at me and held out the ring and told me he knew since the moment we met that I was the only one for him. dunluce castle

My fiance really took the cake when he planned the most unique, amazing, and simply wonderful proposal. Not only was I totally surprised, but it captured the attention of a park full of people. There was so much excitement in the air- it was absolutely perfect. Just as there aren't words to describe the beautiful love we share, there aren't words that will perfectly capture the joy and energy of that moment. For that reason, I invite you to check it out on YouTube. I hope that it brings a smile to your face. Congrats to all the other women who have shared their proposal story- I wish everyone the best. MY FIANCE DID THE MOST AMAZING THING!!! I have always wanted to go to Discovery Cove in Orlando to swim with the dolphins. We finally went and at the end of our dolphin swim the trainer told me the dolphin was going to bring me his toy before we left and when the dolphin swam up to me he had a buoy in his mouth that said will you marry me...I took it out of his mouth and it was the absolute cutest thing in the world!!!!!!!!!!

It wasn't exactly creative, but very sweet. I was at the airport waiting to pick my fiance up from the airport as he was coming home for christmas break from Army AIT training. I had not seen him for over 6 months, but I could tell who he was just seeing him from the waist down when he was on the escalator. It was like I was frozen on the spot and finally realized that he was coming towards me so I ran into his arms. He got down on one knee infront of everyone in the airport and said, "I have to ask you something before I start to cry...Will you marry me?" It was totally unexpected and something that I will remember for the rest of my life!
