So our 5 year old Gecko has decide to stop eating, her tail is fat and she seems alert. She is going on Day 5 of not eating and our whole family is getting nervous. does anyone have any suggestions.
She gets gut loaded cricket with Vionate powder, mistings here and there, access to bottled water at all times, proper heating on each side of her 20 gallon tank, Humidity house when she sheds. Thinks to hide in. no roaming crickets ever to stress her out, and not handled.
Could she have Hapatic Lipadosis? she does eat every 2 days generally? If I take an X-ray on her will I see an enlarge liver?
Can anyone shed some light. What is up with Rosemary?
I have two patternless leopard geckos and their feeding schedule is strange. Sometimes I put crickets or meal worms in... and they're gone in seconds. Sometimes, they'll just follow the bugs around the cage and do nothing. Then there are times when they don't eat at all. Their tails are nice and fat, so I don't worry too much.
You might want to take her to an exotics vet, just in case, but unless she shows signs of failing health, I see no huge problems.
