I really enjoy herping, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me where the best place to look for a black rat snake would be. I live in PA, and I know they are native to my state, but I can never find the elusive critters. If anyone has any tips on where to find them or where you have found them, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The best place to look is under rocks, wood, and other things. Usually, they can be found in woodland areas. Good luck! Smile
