(Don't know how to make the fancy bullets like you guys so forgive my generic looking response)

Exploding turkey (chicken, goose, duck, partridge, crow, magpie, chickadee or squab)

Anything using the word 'fart', just put 'fart' into the find and chances are you myth will come up. Not to mention everyone does it so after a good meal you can test it yourself.

    Religion, God, Jesus etc.

Cooking eggs on anything other than the stove.

Bags of water/brown paper bags repelling insects.

    Slipping on banana peels.

Beer before liquor, liquor before beer.

Tootsie Pops, Totsi pops, Tootie Pops or any other spelling.

Anything else that asks to test commercial slogans.

I am aware of that, thank you. I posted it because people still post it as though it's a brand new idea.

Yes, and that's the whole point of this thread... listing topics that have been discussed a lot and/or done on the show. I'm quite aware that it was done on episode 4, and have posted such numerous times -- that's why it was one of the first things to get added here.

    Myth-Busters...

I have recently re-read an artical in Popular Science, Feb-06 which describes a simple solution to
improving gas consumption of an internal compustion engine. Mr Singh's solution can be easly
implimented in an older vehicle and with proper before and after test , you should be able to prove
    or desprove the concept.

The Myth per say to be busted...

Can a simple uneducated man from a third world country do what the best and brightest can't.
or is the Man in Detroit etc not willing to look at or test finding not generated in house...

At any rate the concept is good. There is allways a good audence for car related Myths and
you might actualy do some good.

    Thank you Jim D

KNOCKING THE BOTTOM OUT OF BEER BOTTLES WITH BARE HANDS

Many years ago I heard a story about a guy who could take an empty beer bottle in one hand, and by hitting the top with his other open hand, he could knock the bottom out of the bottle. Seeing is believing!
