I have posted at least 7 posts within the hour, yet I am still a junior....

The post count issue has been reported and is affecting other members too. It is not just an issue with your account, it is site wide.
Sorry for the frustration.

Well, not to be rude, but when will it be fixed?

Wow, how do you check how many post you have posted? I was not aware that there was such a feature. Also, DCFanMod, I have another question. I made a post to the Fruit Stand thread saying that maybe Adam, Grant or (mrs. b.yron) should make a statement about the subject. However, I realize that there are many stalking lover-boys out there who made Mrs. B.yrons's name a trigger word. However, my post had no such intentions. Will it be allowed, or will it still have to be banned because of that one word (without malicious or perverted intentions)? Thanks for what you've done, DCFanMod.

Thanks, DCFanMod. It's all good, now.

Very good!
I was just going to post that if your post had a trigger word in it, it should be reviewed soon and if found appropriate will be moved onto the forum.

OK, I have another question (uh-oh! ). On the Fruit Stand thread, I did say that maybe a (the) Mythbusters can come on here for just one post and have an official statement to say what they did with the myth, and whether they need to review their actions or not. Is this possible? Thanks again!

Back when Mythmod was here, when the Mythbusters team had comments for the board, they were usually posted by Mythmod.
I imagine that the same procedure is in still effect. Any official statements would be posted by DCFM or Mod_Ivy on behalf of the team. Don't expect to actually see the team posting here.
Something else to keep in mind, is that this happens every couple months. If it's not wasting fruit, it's someone putting up a stink about them damaging the environment by blowing stuff up or releasing CO2 into the air from a gas cylinder. They have better things to do than respond to every nutty person who has a chip on their shoulder.
In a week or two this will blow over and someone else will have something new to gripe about.

It's not me who is complaining. I just had that idea because some other member wouldn't stop whining! Not me!

Hi, I have another question. Sometimes, I am given permission to edit my own posts, but other times, it says that I have not been given permission. Is my ability to edit my posts a mistake, or is it a glitch when I am not allowed to edit them?

No it's not a glitch you are given approx. 5 minute window to go in and edit your post after that it is locked and can not be altered.

I read earlier here, that it takes 5 post to move to senior. Did I understand that to be any reply or does that mean starting a thread?
Also, some are rated with check marks. Do we rate them and if so how. I found nothing on HElP about it.
Thank you.

----------------------------------------------- Wow, I thought "someone" would have answer these questions or at least said they did not understand my questions! This feels rude to me as other threads question-replys seem to take place in a reasonable time frame. It says "Ask the Moderator" so where are they? Can they address my previous questions from yesterday?

Patience grass-hopper...The mods don't just deal with the MB board you know. The five post thing just requires five posts, they don't have to be new topics - if that were the case I'd still be a junior member. I'm not entirely sure about the check mark thing, having not felt the need to start a new topic for quite some time. I *Think* that there is a option when you start new threads to allow people to rate that thread. In practice such rating means little or nothing - the original poster tends to give it five out of five and few others bother rating posts anyway. (And for the record, no I'm not a Mod but unless/until I'm asked not to I will try and answer questions if I can. I've been here long enough to know answers to many of the most common questions - Something I'm not alone in you may have noticed )

Hello boomer7, Sorry for the delay in responding. All posts regardless if they start a thread or are just responding count towards your member status. We usually don't post how many it takes to graduate to "senior" just so folks don't start spamming the boards to achieve a different status. You should be getting close. Most forums have a space just below the "Go" icon at the top of the page where you can rate a thread. This forum does not have this option yet. Check out the "Episode" forum and you will see the option. Again sorry for the delay. DCFM
