All posts regardless if they start a thread or are just responding count towards your member status. We usually don't post how many it takes to graduate to "senior" just so folks don't start spamming the boards to achieve a different status. You should be getting close.
Most forums have a space just below the "Go" icon at the top of the page where you can rate a thread. This forum does not have this option yet. Check out the "Episode" forum and you will see the option.
Again sorry for the delay.

Thanks to both DCFanMod and Cybermotis for responding.
Another Question, I saw in the Profile a statement that stated ranges for obtaining senior and higher. How does that apply is it Mythbusters forums and/or elsewhere? The number there in the profile comments stated higher range numbers.
Example: Karma Levels What are these points and how do they get earned? Or are they not used in any forums?

Way back on page 1 of this thread (02/15/09), DCFanMod said that myths are not e-mailed to the MythBusters, but rather posted in the forums, where researchers find them.
Episode Discussion was one of the forums listed. Should it have been listed in this reply? Is the Episode Discussion forum also monitored for myths, or would that just be the wrong place?
Mythresearchers monitor the different forums for show ideas, feedback, etc. The show often revisits a myth due to feedback that is why I included the Episode Discussion forum on the list.
I've noticed a few posts with the "last edited by" message at the bottoms; several of which seem to not have actually been edited.
So my question is, when being reviewed due to complaints, does the "last edited" message show up on the posts, despite them not actually being edited ?

Thanks for the speedy resp... oh, wait, nevermind
Anywhay, I figured out that the seemingly non-edited, edited posts are, in fact, edited. I see what 'little' words caused the issue too. My stars!
BTW, as silly as I think it is to have those edited, thank-you for editing them all rather than just deleting them. That's appreciated.
I noticed a spot in the middle of the last episode that is presented by the Army as an 'Extra Info Moment', or something like that?
What's the background on that segment?
Does the Army just fund it, or do they help make it somehow? It looks like it is a special segment that is merely sponsored by the Army. But, who knows?

They have done those for a few months now in various forms. Not all episodes have them. Probably based on the marketing for each individual episode.
You might want to start with the "Find" option at the top. You could put in the myth you would like revisited and find an existing thread and post on it, or you can place your question in the Episode Discussion forum since you would like to discuss a revisit to a myth.

DCFanMod,
Do you have any info on these 'Army sponsored' information tid bits? Are these submitted by the Army, or is the Army strictly the sponsor?
I see from an above post that the Episodes Discussion forum is the place to post if we think the Mythbusters team should revisit a myth. Is there any other forum specifically for "This needs revisiting" sort of topics? Thanks!!

Only episode discussion, ideally on an existing thread in there that deals with the myth in question. (If in doubt look for the thread that was started by DCFanMod, or by MythMod if an older episode, as these are the 'offical' threads about those myths).
I may have accidentily deleted my favorites because only one is showing now. I could not find a way to reset the list. Since I visit several I would like the list to be reset so it can show all the forums that I visit.
Is that possible for you to do for me? I have visited several Forums since the delete, but they still do not show. Especially, Mythbusters which I go to the most currently.
Thank you
OOPSL -- I was thinking the list was built automatically, but I find the Option at the top of this thread that I can add Forums as my favorite! So, Forget all I said!
People do "bump" their own threads but I would not encourage you to keep doing so to keep your post on top. You might want to use the "find" feature to see if there is already an existing thread and then comment on that one. This often introduces members to other folks with similar interests.

Is it you , or me?
It is not just you.
Nonmythicaldragon and I have noticed this problem for several months now, which is why why neither of us harp at newbies to use the find button anymore.
We were asked via email to give mod_ivy the search criteria that shows up with "no results" when we know that the results do exist.
