Hi all,

Anyone who participated in Project TLC for Evan's birthday knows that I have contact with the assistant to Evan's agent. The other day I asked her that if I collected Wedding Congratulation messages from the fans and sent them to her in an e-mail if she'd forward them to Evan. She said she'd be happy to. So if your interested during the month of October you can e-mail me your Congratulatory messages for Evan and Andrea. After the wedding date, sometime in early November, I will compile them all and e-mail them on. I'll try to remember to send an e-card along as well from the fans for her to forward to him. The e-mail to send the messages to is my sandjh@myway.com account.

I hope we get lots of people involved in this.

Im happy to hear the great news, My daughter,husband and mother in law and I had the greatest pleasure in meeting you both in person in Saratoga NY in June 2005 after my daughters Votec graduation. We were finishing our late snack when you both sat at the table next to us, of course being the big fan's we are my daughter knew who you were right away, ( cant hide your voice evan....) after waiting till you ordered dinner I let my daughter Lydia approach you. And I was glad to know you are as sweet in person as you are on the show, you introduced us to Andrea and were very kind to give Lydia autographs, even called her sister who wasnt with us and Andrea took a photo of you and Lydia. This is a photo she will treasure forever! You both are such sweet decent, real people. Best of luck with the show as well as a long and happy life together. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers as you made such an impression on my daughter i am forever gratefull to the time you gave her.

sandjh, i just sent you an e-mail and was curious about how many you've received. it's a really nice idea and nice of you to take the time to do it.

So far only eight messages (including you). A little disheartening.

Maybe that's because Evan never announced the engagement on his website or in interviews, and some of us find it a bit intrusive, regardless of whether or not it's well wishes.

The only mention of it was someone else spilling it at a home show, and announcements in local papers. Just because information is available on the internet, and just because you or I may be a fan, doesn't make it our business. Obviously, being as gracious as he is, Evan isn't going to make an issue of this, but if he'd wanted to share this with fans, he would have. Give the guy a bit of privacy....this is a very private moment, after all...

Actually he did mention it in an interview at:

"Q. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

A. Well, right now I don't have any spare time so I am digging into my non-spare time. I just bought a house and I'm getting married in October, so that's been obviously a huge part of my life."


Also, on his website Evan has in his picture gallery a photocopy of an article re. Katrina relief and it mentions his fiance. You can find it here:

Also, if the woman I am in contact with thought that Evan would have a problem with receiving the congrats then she would have told me no.

And sending well wishes is intrusive?
please - He is in the public eye, he said it himself. And after meeting them both! Id think he would love to know his fan's care about him other then being on a show .

Just because I'm a pest I'd like to point out that Evan announced that he was getting married when he went to the Atlanta Home Show in September.

Welcome to the boards Starluv!
It's been a bit more quiet around here than usual. Probably because so many people can't find when the show is on. They keep moving it around and not putting up any notice. Also they changed the format of the boards and some people haven't gotten used to it and just went to other boards instead.
Hopefully people will get more chatty again.

I am waaaaay too busy to come to the boards as often as I use to... Plus it was posts like this = Talking about the cast members personal lives... that kept me away. I decided that I can't stop people from wondering and posting so I would just have to deal with it... If I don't like it don't read it. Although I do think it was a very sweet idea for Sandra to put together messages from fans
