Bob Irwin has finally spoken about his decision to sever ties with Australia Zoo. His story was shown on the programme "Australian Story" on TV in Australia last night.

There have been rumours for months that Bob has fallen out with Terri because he doesn't like the way she she is running Australia Zoo and he and his new wife have moved to a new property about 2 hours drive from the Zoo. He is continuing his animal conservation work in his own way.

I had no idea that Bob had a wife either until I heard about him leaving the zoo, and I always thought I kept up pretty well with what was going on with Steve and his family. I don't now when they got married, how they met, how Steve felt about it, etc. And for some reason, I have yet to do searches about it. If you find anything, please do let us know! I'll be looking too!

They talk about it a little in the interview. She met Bob two monthes after Lynn's death. She talks about helping him through his grieving. And then she mentions that about 12 to 18 months they started to date. They don't mention when they got married, but I thought they showed a picture (can't double check my computer is having issues right now) and Steve was in it with his arm on Judy's shoulder all smiles.

I was very sad to learn there had been problems within the family, are things any better, does anyone know how things are? Steve would have been very upset at what has happened, perhaps everyone was aiming for the same thing, but wanting to take different avenues to the goal? Steve had a ten year plan didn't he, so perhaps the disagreement was as to how the plan was to be implemented.

The problems are still going on !

It will till they can agree sad but Bob dosen't get to see Steve's kids and that is ashame!

Judy was a wild life carer and took in lots of animals for the zoo !

I believed they married she and Bob some time in 2002 late or in 2003!

There is much more to the story than is being printed in the press!

Bob spoke carefully because he did not want to hurt the zoo nor Steve's dream!
