I WILL BOLDLY GO

No matter how tough the fight gets,
No matter the rain, sleet, or snow,

I don't want to break any hearts,
I don't wish to cause any sorrow,
But there are things I have to do,

I may seem as far away as the moon,
Where I'm going I don't even really know,
But no matter how you try to convince me not to,

No matter how bitter the many miles will be,

No matter how much time it may take me to get back,

In all of it my courage will show,
And to start I will take the first brave step,

Soon I will begin down the path I plan to walk,

And they will sprout into the plants of a legacy,

I will accomplish my mission by myself,

If fearlessness is a light then I shall glow,

The world is welcome by my side,
To help spread word to and fro,
To help my cause spread ever further,

Maybe I'll even make the world a little bit more friendly,
Turn some to friends who were previously foes,

Keep my picture close to you until I come back,
Though there is a chance it will be to rest when I come home,
