I was on the site this morining trying to get an application to fill it out. The link took me to the inital process page, and then offered the link to the application at the bottom of the page. I clicked on it and it was the birthday verification page. Does that sound familiar to anyone? I put in my birthdate, and clicked submit, and it told me that I was not old enough to fill out an application. Now I am 36 years old, I cannot imagine that I am not old enough. How old do you have to be? I have not read anywhere that there is an age limit. Has anyone else had this problem? Please help!

It has not happened to me personally (as I've never applied) however I recall several people complaining about having this problem. There is some glitch in the software I think that they need to fix. I wish I could help you..

I also tried to get the application today and ran into the same problem. I'm 35 and I assume I'm old enough too. Too bad there isn't an email link to report this problem...

The only application link I can even find is the video tape process. That does not seem right - what if folks have no access to a video camera. That leaves a hole bunch of folks out of the running.

When I tried to apply earlier today it went through the birthday question fine. I'm 27 not too much younger than the ones who had problems. I do have a question though. The 2 day get-a-way that they tell you to list...do we need to arrange that or does TLC and WYWO do that on our suggestion?

They'll take care of the arrangements. However, the more input you give, the more likely the person you want to surprise will be so happy about the trip that he or she won't get suspicious!

if they like you and want you on the show they will create the getaway. I was little bedroom on the prarie episode and they figured out the retreat.

I just watched the rerun of your episode and I have to say it is one of my favorite eps! You were fantastic! You and your son worked so hard and were willing to do whatever Nadia asked of you. And your wife seemed very surprised and pleased with the outcome.

Is the room still pretty much how they did it or have you and your wife made a lot of changes? And how is the "organization factor" in the room? LOL

Thanks for your kind words. I really had allot of fun doing the show. The room is still as if they left yesterday. I have worked hard to keep it nice. The organization is such a nice change. The closet is my wifes favorite part. I enjoy the bedding. It is like sleeping on a marshmallow. havn't been contacted for any where are they now thing I figure sooner or later I will hear from them again.
