Furries. The media has falsely portrayed and slandered them. I've been a member of the furry fandom for awhile now, and I'm shocked by the poor attention given by the media. It's rare for stories like this onefrom the Hartford Advocate to show what the fandom really is. What it is, in the simplest form, is a place for it's members to be themselves with out fear or prosecution. Furs are a live and let live society. We don't let things bother us. However, when the media portrays us like they have, those who know the fandom are deeply hurt.
