The Orlando interview... she talks about running out of gas. People that lie, tend to throw more details in... listen to her.

I think that I should re-listen to her initial LE interview tapes because I know more now about the case and perhaps pick up on some things. For instance the detective asked her when was the first time that she became suspicious of the Nanny. Her answer was not, when she was taken from me (either at Saw Grass or the Park). She said after the phone call from Caylee when the Nanny hung up from the phone call. I am assuming that she meant the phone call that she said that she talked to Caylee, but the Nanny hung up before KC had a chance to talk to her. That just shows a BIG LIE.

When the detective asked her about running out of gas and having her car pushed into the Amscot lot,he ask her if this occurred before or after Caylee disappeared, she took a much too long of a pause before answering, like she was trying not mess up her story line.

Miss Brightside, my post just went to lala land and I do not know what the trigger word was this time, so I will try again. It was a long post, so I will shorten this one.

The detective asked her when was the first time that she began to distrust the Nanny. KC said that it was when the Nanny h ung up the phone on her (oh I just found the trigger word!). Why would she not have said that she began her distrust when the Nanny held her down while her sister took Caylee at Blanchard Park?

nope, the Blanchard Park story came after LP & crew bonded her out of jail

she made up that story to them while out on bond, and apparently George heard it too since he mentions it in his statements to LE
Smile

so it's not just Padilla's word against hers, George says it in his statement

Good points, well, why did she not say that she first began to distrust the Nanny after she came back to Saw Grass apartments that afternoon to pick up Caylee and they were not there? She did tell them that story on day one, right?

Not only did Padilla state that story. But Lee stated that it was he that Casey confided in with that story. Tracy and Jim (George's friend) went out and smoked a cigarette and that is when Lee states that Casey and him, had the time to talk.
What was the first date that Casey got out on bail/bond?
Cindy in her statement to the FBI was the one that told the Blanchard Park story and the zanny lady knocking Casey down, calling her a beotch and then telling her she was going to teach Casey a lesson. Cindy of course was very dramatic, stating that Casey weighs 100 pounds and this zanny weighs about 140 pounds.
Lee wasn't as dramatic in his version, his story was that they were all at the park, Casey and the zanny-lady were sitting on a bench. The Zanny-lady pins Casey's arm down. No weapons, Lee states. Tells Casey she is going to teach Casey a lesson, then they both watch as Samantha just takes Caylee in the car.
Now Lee is the one in his jail visit with Casey. He states to her. You know the date that we first told LE was found to not be true. Because of the video with Caylee on Great-grandpa's lap. He states, don't you think it would be in YOUR BEST INTEREST to straighten that out with the LE?
I know that when the Anthony's were all deposed this last time by the prosecution. It seemed to me that with all their questions, that they were getting at, that Casey hadn't even been bonded out of jail yet and Cindy and George knew about that story. The Blanchard Park Story. So if Casey was in jail and they never talked about it during jail visitations. When did and where did this story originate?

It is true though that the Blanchard Park story came after the LE interview. I do think it was an odd answer for her to say in the interview that she was first suspicious of the Nanny after they h ung up the phone on her the following week after Caylee disappeared. Why was she not suspicious of the Nanny when she returned to Saw Grass Apartments on June 16, way before the phone call that the Nanny h ung up on her?

Seriously, I'm thinking all the Ashton will need for a conviction is her initial statement, play the audio of this LE interview and the pictures from the remains site. Even without the dogs, the death smell in car, etc. she would be found guilty.

Thanks for posting this audio of her interview. Listening to them and rereading her initial statement has reminded me why I so strongly feel she deserves the death penalty. She sounds so unphased that Caylee is gone, and very inconvenienced by all of the questionning. She said she loved Caylee more than anything about as emotionally as she discussed the gas gauge being broken on her car. No emotions except laughter, hostility, and smugness. Where is her soul???????????????

Everyone here should listen to these tapes again!!!

In Part 8 Casey says this:

"my mom flat out told me yesterday she will never be able to forgive me. and I even told her I will never be able to forgive myself. everyday I have been beating myself up about this. every single day not knowingn where to go what to do running in cirlces literally cuz it's all I can do at this point. Even if I would have had my car in perfect condition you know under perfect conditions it wouldn't have mattered where would I have gone driven around for nothing that's what it feels like..."

I am wondering about this slip up she made. They were discussing with her about her waiting to call, and how if anything like this ever happens in the future, she should contact the police right away and not wait around. Why her car running out of gas, change anything in her "investigation"? She was stealing money right and left, she couldn't be bothered to put gas in the car to locate her missing child that she was so desperately driving all over Orlando looking for. She slipped up when she made that statement, otherwise, why correct herself so fast?????????????????????????????????????

She also mentions that she and Cindy were discussing about having information on her computer and they were going through it all day setting up websites and looking for stuff. She then goes on to offer up her computer to them for them to check out. OF COURSE SHE DID, SHE JUST SPENT THE DAY ERASING EVERYTHING SHE THOUGHT WAS INCRIMINATING. Not knowing they could dig it up still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twinz, I noticed the same slipup. She quickly tries to recover. She also talks about Caylee in past tense.
