At first I was leaning toward the hot car theory. The Caylee had been left unattended and perished in a hot car. It is really difficult for me to look at Casey Anthony and see a cold-blooded murderer. I know that looks are incredibly deceiving. But, since Caylee seems to have been missing since the very beginning of Casey's month-long odyssey, what else can be considered but that she is solely and deliberately responsible?
I know that legally, in this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. That is the responsibility of a jury. As a general observer of this case, all arrows point to her guilt. She'd receive more benefit of the doubt if she at least attempted to appear concerned and helpful in this investigation. This whole idea of protecting Caylee from harm by not talking doesn't wash anymore.
Why isn't her family begging for the return of Caylee? Why haven't they faced the camera and begged those that they apparently believe responsible to bring back Caylee?
That's a good point Tea. Why haven't they begged? You see that happen all the time with missing children.
My thoughts are that one way or another Casey's family is cooperating with authorities while maintaining that they are on Casey's side and everything they say publicly MUST show their support for Casey otherwise she will go off on them again and not tell them anything. I guess they are still hoping she will tell them SOMETHING.
Whether they know more or not they have probably been told to maintain to the public that they are looking for Caylee actively until something concrete is produced that a homicide definitely occurred. If that's the case I'm sure it's incredibly hard for them, however since that concrete proof has not been produced they probably still have some hope for her safe return as well. I know I would be holding on to every little inkling or sign that my child or grandchild was still alive.
I believe that Casey is so self-absorbed and self-centered that she finally decided to get rid of Caley for good. I believe that she killed Caley, buried her body in her parents' backyard while they were away, got scared and went back while her parents were gone and dug up Caley's body with that borrowed shovel, put Caley's body in the trunk of her car, went back to her parents house several days later to steal the gas cans and burned and buried Caley's remains somewhere. Sorry to sound morbid but I've been an investigator for many years and putting all of the pieces together, this is my only theory.
On June 9th, Casey and Caylee left home after a row with Cindy. On June 24th, George discovers the gas can in the trunk of Casey’s car. Can you imagine the argument that ensued at the Anthony home on the 24th? (Note: when George found the gas can, Caylee was not in the trunk). By this time, George and Cindy must have known that Casey had taken their credit card and cash. Now she breaks the lock on the shed and takes the gas. George must have been mortified, he had just filed a police report!!
As you think about this argument, think about how difficult Casey must have been growing up: she’s a high school drop-out, a teenage mother, can’t hold a job, steals from friends and family, lies about everything, has one boyfriend after another and is a party animal. We also get a sense of how she spoke to her mother from the 911 calls and the first call from prison. All while Cindy and George are acting as the primary caregivers for Caylee.
After the argument, Casey leaves with Cindy saying “You’re not taking MY car!”. Casey leaves in the car anyway (and Cindy says on July 15 that Casey stole the car).
To me, this puts the comment Cindy posted on her myspace on July 3rd into a new perspective.
It also cements my belief that something happened to Caylee on the night of the 24th.
On Friday June 27th, Casey went to the Anthony home and couldn’t find an acceptable place to bury Calyee’s body. She drove to Jay Blanchard park and dumped the body in the river. Isn’t Ironic, that on her way back, she ran out of gas. Just think, if she had set the car on fire to spite her parents, she’d have gotten away with murder.
I feel like the 24th is a pivotal date too. It comes up a number of times with a number of events. One thing that needs to be addressed however, is where was Caylee between the 16th (when George last saw her) and the 24th of June? Not a single person can account for Caylee during those days.
I remember reading once a long time ago that when mothers kill they typically will do it by drowning or suffocation. The idea is that they are sending the child back to a womblike state. I would agree that the child is in water. And there's plenty of that in and around Orlando. I noticed that river seems to empty into a reservoir of some kind.
What I think happened after watching the narrowed down time line last night from gretawire is that Casey and Caylee were at her parents house planning on swimming or already had gone swimming. Cindy Anthony stated that the ladder was in the pool when no one went swimming. I think somehow Caylee drowned. Which explains why there was an inconsistant alert at the pool. The report says that she had a "Flurry" of calls on the day that the shovel was borrowed to her mother, father, and brother, but none of them were answered calls. I think she got scared and her mind switched to crazy thinking. She borrowed the shovel from the neighbor the same day, back up the car to the garage ( which the neighbor had noted because he never seen her do that before), put Caylee in the trunk and took off to bury her somewhere. I think over this tramtic accident that her mind has set her to believe that Caylee was kidnapped and she is alive because she wont accept what happened, so her mind shut it out to the last time she dropped her daughter off at the sitters. In her mind that is the last time she saw her. Hopefully i am proven wrong and she is alive
I don't think Caylee's death was an accident. If it were, Casey could have just called 911. She wouldn't have had the need to make up all those stories.
I think Casey did something to make her mom mad. Because what she said to her mom on myspace while caylee was missing. I also think Cindy has more info on what happened and feels gulity about it. She retracks her statements all the time. I feel there's alot more not being said. Why is it her dad could visit Sunday and two days later when it just so happens to be the mom days to visit she cant because of a threat that if she does Caylee's life is in danger. I dont by it because I hate to say it she is already gone. It was all done to piss her mom off...... She felt her daughter meant more then she did.
Marie, I thought the same thing too. Also, why not claim, a la Susan Smith, that the child was abducted by a stranger? The conclusion I came to was that A) she lies so compulsively that she can't lie like you would think someone who was trying to get out of trouble would lie. You know what I mean? Her brain doesn't recognize a believable lie from one that is not, or B) if she had reported the accident/incident sooner, her month-long party would have come to a crashing halt much sooner.
I really think casey did something to hurt that child. To upset her mother Cindy. I also feel that Cindy has been holding back alot info. If your not gulity of something why not take a polygraph I would. And why is she retracks her statements all the time. And there is a difference between a pizza smell and a dead body smell. I they are all lying to cover for her and it's wrong. Casey doesnt care about her daughter if she did she would have reported Caylee missing right away. Also, what I dont understand is why did she ask to use the neighbors shovel when she had no problem breaking the lock to her dads shed and stealing the gas why not take a shovel from I hope they got that shovel in evidence. Theres way to many diffrent stories they are saying about there daughter and thats why I think they all have info on what happend. I just hope this case comes to a close soon poor little angel.

That could be possible, but with everyone you see coming in and out of Casey's life wouldn't they have noticed the child in the car? Sometimes it was daylight out? And as far as the smell, wouldn't of someone noticed that before the car was towed? Or did it happen in a certain time frame?
I think when that first 911 call was placed, as soon as the phone was hung-up Casey told her mother. Then back peddling started to happen. No one was given the time to come up with excuses and now they are becoming cryptic in telephone conversations.
Some of the sites I have been too give a few links to Casey's photobucket and more. The thing I was kind of upset about was that her "Missing my baby" icon she has on her myspace was one of the first pictures added to her account. It's one of the last ones on that page meaning it was put there when she started it. But mixed in are album covers and random icons. So, if my daughter was missing would I be uploading album covers as well as this icon? Or did she upload that a while ago and then put that icon there on myspace when Caylee was reported?
Everything Casey has done seems premeditated to me and that makes her a very, very scary individual.
Also, as far as this man who is her father... when he died in the car wreck he was in tow with his current girlfriend, Sarah. I don't understand why he would be taking his new girlfriend to his daughters first birthday? And on some sites his friends have come forward to say that he is not the father. They are actually outraged and I wonder why none of this has hit the news yet (mostly because they have their heads in their ass.)

Where did you get this swimming pool information from? What date did this take place?
Caylee is dead and Casey killed her - plain and simple. No accident either. The police have a ton of information that we are not aware of. They know she killed the baby and they are trying to find her body before they charge her with murder.
A "drowning or leaving her in the hot car" excuse doesn't add up. And how many times has Casey asked her family members or friends on her many phone calls "has anyone found my baby" or "how is the search for Caylee going" ? Not ONCE. She is a sociopath and has no guilt or remorse whatsoever for killing her daughter.
The Grandmother makes me sick to my stomach. The only reason she is supporting her daughter is because Casey's lawyer informed her that it will look bad when they put her on trial for murder that her relatives did not support her. Caylee is dead. Casey killed her so she could be single and go out and party. Our societ grooms our kids to grow up as selfish, sociopathic, scumbags looking out for themselves only
