Mr Ashton asks George Anthony- "You indicated in answering questions from Ms. Drane Burdick, you said you believe that this group of men you've referred to are people who know more than they are stating. In all candor, would you include Casey in that group who know more than they are stating, in your opinion? This is just your opinion.
George Anthony- That's - - I mean, that's a fair question. But I also believe that, like I said, these three possibly maybe even four people, I think they know a lot more that what they're stating.
Mr Ashton- But I'm asking about Casey. Do you believe Casey knows more than she's saying?
George Anthony- Okay. I'm going to answer this and also ask you a question or ask you something. To say yes to Casey, but I'm going to ask you to open up the door to let me talk to my daughter.
The question is George making some sort of deal, in order to say "YES" that Casey knows more than she is stating?
Why does George need to see or talk to Casey, in order to answer "YES" to the question posed by Mr Ashton?
Seems to me that since April the Anthony's have tried DESPERATELY TO SEE CASEY, do they all need her approval?
Seems to me that they are just trying to get on that same page as to their story.
Hi Suze...I have been very curious, as to why George, or Cindy and George, wish to speak w/ Casey alone. I feel the same way you do..getting their, "script", if you will, straight. Now, I don't know if Casey will testify, but it's more than just to see her, imo.
Also...as to George, having the nerve, to ask..that he want something in return. When I read this in his depo, I had the feeling the question, pizzed him off! (Does that include KC?) imo
Also, Suzi, in another part of G's depo, how about when he said, " I am going to be blunt. Don't try to confuse me!"

Ocean, dear, i truly HOPE George says this on the stand "don't try to confuse me" ummm from an onlooker's point (a jury) the thought might be "how can answering a question confuse you!" either you know the answer or you don't, no gray area there, buddy!

Who wouldn't want an opportunity to speak to Casey alone? I know I would. I think it's less about setting the story straight and more about saving Casey's life, possibly. My guess is that if George could talk to Casey alone, what he would say to her would be a lot different than if he knew Cindy could hear what he had to say. Cindy, I believe, would try to get stories straight, and would feed Casey lines. I think George would beg Casey to spare her own life by trying to strike a deal.
Deal or no deal I think when it comes down to the last seconds if she believes that she will be better off making a deal she will try. However at this point I think her defense is somewhat in the dark as to what they have to work with or against (thanks to LE). They (the defense) IMO are only giving what they ask for. To me this shows in thier motions. They have no clue.
They had their opportunity to talk to KC unobstructed when she was out on bail. At that time, they said that KC would talk if she just got out of jail. NOT>
Now, George implies that if he could just talk to KC, he could find out more information that no one has been able to do so thus far.
If he needs to get safe communication to KC, he can do that today, through her lawyer, Jose Baez. In fact, if this has not taken place, how in the world can she be defended with KC holding back something that "George" could get out of her. NOT. Baez already has all of his questions answered by KC and he is just going to put forth the defense that is open for him to try with what she has told him, truth or lie.

That is how I feel, Anna. For whatever reason, they did not push, for more info, when she was home for 6 or 7 weeks. Now, unless they visit, all communications, must go through letters, or lawyers. She is in custody. Private meetings, I have never heard of this.
IMO, the Anthonys (especially Cindy) have always and will always see this whole situation as a "family matter." They want to see/speak to Casey alone because that's how they feel like they will REALLY know what's going on. The courts, the jail, the police....they're all extraneous, irritating nuisances. Unless they hear it directly from CASEY's mouth, they won't believe it.
That "Who do we believe" attitude is a matter of convenient results. In his depo, Lee says that he could not accept LE evidence, e.g., DNA, that Caylee was really dead because he could not himself verify how they came to the conclusion that she was dead. He could not accept LE evidence that Caylee had not been abducted by Jesse's mother and taken to Atlanta, because he could not verify it himself. But..... when dumbo Dominic tells him that Amy, Ricardo and JP are heroin addicts.....he said in his depo that he accepted that without any proof from Dominic.
He just does not know how frail his ethics are.....morally bankrupt.

I think that a part of them as grandparents and uncle do wish that there would be that chance, we all do wish that Caylee was still here in the land of the living and not gone. That would be a miracle. But the Anthony's are using this belief as you said Anna, a convenience. They want to wipe that slate clean again. Try to win back support, like they had in the beginning when Caylee was just missing, so we thought. They want it all to just go away. They are angry at anyone that exposes Casey. I don't and I know I will never understand their logic. Casey is nothing and she took the life of their granddaughter. I just don't get how they can just forget Caylee. I just don't get it. Dominic Casey was working for them, and working for "their side." He was also working for Baez, but look how fast he went to the Florida Bar filing a grievance on Baez. Real trustable character. That is a whole other issue. I really believe as hard as he is fighting to have to answer any questions. Going to the Florida Bar and saying that Baez told him if he found Caylee, not to call the LE. Baez got out of it. But my point in all of it. If Dominic Casey didn't find Caylee back in November there wouldn't be an issue about Caylee being found. But for him to go to that Florida Bar he must have found her, and now that he will have to be under oath he is trying to find some way to cover his A Z Z. I think that he is one shady character, Jim Hoover is worse. The Anthony's have tunnel vision and they choose to believe a lie over truth. Amy, Ricardo, JP, Jesse, I fear, will be on the stand for days, and the defenses big tactic will to destroy any credibility. But that goes both ways. The prosecution has a years worth of videos, transcripts of the Anthony's statements. Once they become hostile then it will open the door, if Strickland allows the vids etc. in, to all their prior inconsistant statements. Talk about bad credibility.
Lee will rub the jury the wrong way, just being himself IMO. While reading his deposition, he laughs out of c o c k i n e s s. The jurors are all going to wonder in such a heinous crime what could ever be so funny, coming from the uncle? He seems to try to be a comedian and fails miserably. Once he got a couple chuckles from Baez, he was going out of his way thereafter just to get laughs. I got livid when they were talking about Juliett Lewis. The actress, Baez laughed at himself saying that. I would be embarrassed that I had a client that used an actresses name as part of her alibi story. Baez or Lee did the same thing with the man that was supposed to be Casey's Boss Tom somebody. It was like they were laughing at what stories and lies Casey had come up with. I didn't find it amusing whatsoever that they were cheering Casey on so to speak.

Wasn't that weird! I knew then when Baez said "the actress" that he knows Case is guilty as sin...I think at one point he even called Lee a "baby"..and I was thinking..he means it...he thinks Lee is an amature next to his sister..JMO
Oh, something else that made me mad, regarding Juliette Lewis and Raquel Farrell, Lee states that they tried looking up those two people and because they couldn't find anything on myspace or facebook, they found similar people when they switched the last names. Now that is the most craziest thing I have ever heard of. Just how they feel that we can add to, take away, change someone's last name with another till we come up with someone that fits the description we are looking for. That would be like well lets see there is a person named Jane, she has blonde hair and her last name I thought was Smith. So I search for all Jane's till I find one, to suit my fancy that has blonde hair, then I add that person as part of a fact of the story.
Aren't they sick! They're just going to make up evidence to get murderer Casey off...
It's just like Cindy saying she didn't like Kronk (is that his name?) and if she could find a tie between him and Jesse she would have him go down for this and she knew people that could make it happen...I forget where I read that..Just like Casey she is dangerous and thinks she has special powers...
Getting back to the original question, I think George does wish he could speak with his daughter privately, after so many lies have now been revealed to him. Trouble is the prosecutor made it clear that he has nothing to do with that.
That right. Instead, it's BAEZ that doesn't want any of the Anthonys coming anywhere near Casey, lest she spill the beans to one of them. As long as her counsel is recommending that she speak to no one, Casey can pretend that she wants to talk to them, and Jose will always play the bad guy and put a stop to that. But even Casey knows that not talking to them is in her best interest.
