Anyone else read it? I found it to be a good summary for persons who are interested in the case, but have not foraged through the discovery as most here have.
I did get a sick feeling when she detailed how Casey murdered Caylee.
There were a couple of typos that read Caylee instead of Casey.
I have not read it yet, and as I recall most people here were thinking the same thing....what could we possibly learn that is new to us and why a book before the trial? I think that if I heard from a few people in the Forum that would say that it is worth the read, I probably would read it too.
I am curious about her theory about how KC murdered Caylee. As you are probably aware, there have been many theories that have been put forth by people in this forum and many of them very well thought out and supportable by the evidence that we know. Did you get the feeling that her theory was based on by additional information that she has been able to get through the advantage of interviewing people that are significant to this case?
Oh, most importantly, did you learn anything new?

There weren't any new "bombshells". If you have read the discovery then you don't need to read the book, however, it is a good refresher.
Two things that come to mind real quick are that George puked at the tow yard and Cindy let loose with a curse-filled tirade while smashing up a memorial cross with a baseball bat that Lee removed from the property that someone left just after the body was found.
There were some inconsistencies pointed out in testimony.
I was hoping to find out what item the officer grabbed when Cindy was removing Casey’s ID from the wallet.
The murder was theorized as follows:
Casey chatted with George early afternoon on the 16th, saying she would working late and she and Caylee would stay overnight at the nanny’s. Casey left with Caylee and hung around the neighborhood waiting for George to leave. She returned home, mixed the chloroform and used it on Caylee. She then placed the tape on her with the heart sticker, wrapped her up in the Winnie the Pooh blanket, placed her in laundry bag and then finally into the black garbage bag.
If it did happen that way, I think the garbage bag came later after the decomposition fluid started leaking.
Thank you Mr. Racing. Yes, her theory should have included some explanation of why she carried around the body in her car long enough to there to be decomp in it. And also, the cadaver dog hits in the back yard. Did it?

I got the book last night (library ), and am about 2/3 through it. I haven't read anything new yet, but it is interesting to read it in this format.
Fanning is definitely NOT pro-Anthony. They come across very pathetic.
The way Amy is portrayed in this book shows what a good friend she was to Casey and how Casey just S**T on her. Now Cindy calls her Zanny and a heroin addict. (B**ch)
It is also interesting to see how she kept Jesse on a string, hooked up with guys before ending it with another and was always on the look out for the next one. It outlines the "transition" (lack of a better word) from Ricardo to Tony, and the reeling in of Will Waters just in case Tony really moved to NY. What really amazes me is how she did all of this in such a short period of time. Her trying to manipulate all of the people in her life is really clear in this book.
I think it is worth reading. OK, that's my review, FWIW.
I received it as a gift. To be honest, I felt it was very lazy, pretty much all the interviews copy and pasted into a good word processor and then a 'check grammar' function was then chosen. For anyone really into the case, nothing much there. In fairness, it would be great to those who are curious what the case is all about. $indee and Dominic carrying on in front of Georgette was pretty gratifying to read, too. All in all, not worth it unless you are VERY new to the cased or too lazy to wade through the documentation available.

I just received my copy and I'm reading the first chapter...it is really cool to read it like this....
One thing I noticed so far was that the author left out that it was Cindy's co-workers who convinced her to leave work early on July 15th when she went back to work after picking up Casey's car from the tow yard... I think she should have included that because it shows Cindy's state of mind a little more clearer.
Also, I was able to visualize George getting sick at the tow yard in the pouring rain a little better reading it this way. I thought back to when I threw up before and how my body shook and I almost fainted needing something to lean on and how shakey I was afterwards... George, at his age must have felt all of that and the grossness in his mouth etc...I mean did he go use their bathroom at the yard to clean up or what?? Driving that smelly car back home with the windows only cracked ..in his condition must have been he ll...
Thank you all for your posts about this book. I think this book deserves its own thread...Either a new one or revive the old thread that announces the book.

It appears that Cindy did admit to Amy that she did discuss selling the house to Casey at some point..but she said she decided later that Casey would not be able to afford the mortage.
My questions:
WHEN?? Was this around the time that Casey as telling Amy about Cindy signing the house over to her...or way before then and Casey had decided she was going to do something to get that house anyway on Friday the 13th...hense her searches for household weapons and self defense?
DID Cindy finally decide Casey had no money at all after she was informed about Casey stealing from her grandparents again and is that when she told Casey there would be no deal for the house??
I just bought the book this weekend. I don't mind buying it because the money isn't going to Casey's defense or the Anthonys. DF has a right to write, if it weren't about this case, it would be about another so what's the difference, this is her career. I think it's written for an audience different from us, though. We've all read the discovery and come here every day to talk and think and reason among each other. My sister, on the other hand, who asks general questions once a month like "so what's new with casey?", would benefit greatly from it.
