this is part of Casey's INITIAL statement to police on the day of July 16, 2008.
Is it just me, or is this something overlooked?? So Casey claimed Caylee was missing since the 9th and then she claimed to have spoken to Zenaida again on that Thursday the 12th???
Didn't Cindy and George and Lee and Brad and everybody claim that Casey was running from place to place to place at the direction of Zenaida?????? How can she do that, if she had "not had any contact with Zenaida since Thursday, June 12, 2008."?????
So to me, THURSDAY SOMETHING HAPPENED. Let's say Casey mother-of-the-year does NOT remember when, day and time, her own child was kidnapped. She does remember it was on a Monday. Then in her initial report she claims that same Thursday she had contact with Zenaida, but not since that day. So if Casey was off by a week, maybe that Thursday the 19th was the day she actually BURIED CAYLEE. Wasn't that the same date that she borrowed the shovel?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/
Thursday is an important day or Casey wouldn't have included it in her report. It was on her mind and something about the day made her try and cover it up in the report. Why mention that specific day of the week if there was really no importance????
Seriously, there is a reason she specifically mentioned a Thursday. Something happened that day of the week that Casey was trying to cover up or stuck in her mind.
there are too many silent/dead zones on casey's phone from the 16th to the 19th for investigators to really know where she was and what she was doing. i think she borrowed the shovel on the 18th, i'll have to cross check that though
there are a few gaps in her phone pings that could mean she was driving around with the body in the trunk looking for where to put it and finally disposed of it
Maybe I am missing something, but didn't Casey claim the same day she talked to LE that Caylee/Zenaida called her on her cell phone? That was in July. She said something like Zanny called her and put Caylee on the phone they talked about a book or shoes something trivial, the phone hung up. She couldn't give LE the number cause it was a private number and didn't show on her phone, but also stated moments later she called the number after she was hung up on and the phone was all of a sudden disconnected. If she was trying to cover up for disposing Caylee on Thursday, then she really goofed cause she told LE it was July the same day they went to her home that she talked to them that very day around noon.
Since you started a phone topic, do you happen to know if anything was ever revealed about the black jack phone or whatever she called it, the one she kept allegedly Zenaidas phone number(s) stored too and switched her SIM card back and forth with? I have not heard about anyone mentioning this phone. Was the alelged call on the 12th/19th whatever Thurdsay she is referring to supposed to be made to the phone she could provide or the missing phone? I have also not heard any mention of this phone by the Anthonys in deposition, like maybe one of the Anthonys saying check the phone records for Caseys missing phone and you will find Zenaida on those records, nope not even a mention. ANyone have a clue what the story is with the missing phone, did that disappear with the Zanny story?

Here Casey clearly states that Zenaida took Caylee out of Orlando. How would she know that??? Yet another lie and another attempt to focus the police AWAY from searching in Orlando. Trying to buy time to move the body.

So the Thursday BEFORE Caylee went "missing" someone on their home computer at 11:15 PM at night searched for Zenaida's, age 25, etc.

Casey goes to Lake Underhill Park with Kristina Chester and Kristina's TWO CHILDREN. (Kristina Marie Chester Statement 7/16/08--"On June 12 or 13th I saw Casey and Caylee. We went for a walk around Lake Underhill Park around the lake somewhere around 6 pm to 8:30 pm. Casey was with Caylee just them two and I was with my two childrne. Me and Casey are very close friends. We went to high school together also. We get together alot for play dates with her daughter and my children. Me and her family are close as well. Caylee does have some belongings at my home. I have baby say Caylee and Casey has baby sat mine."
Kristina tells Globe magazine that she met Casey and Caylee at the park with her two kids and everything was fine and Casey was bubbly as ever. She said that Caylee always shared her toys with her (Kristina's) son. THAT SAME NIGHT, JUST HOURS LATER, CASEY IS LYING TO AMY ABOUT MAKING SOME IMPORTANT WORK PHONE CALL ALL THE WHILE 45 MINUTES LATER SHE IS TROLLING ON THE COMPUTER FOR "ZENAIDA" "Age 25" "FERNANDEZ" (yes with a "Z" at the end), "Gonzalez" (also with a "z" at the end) and "Jacksonville"
CASEY ANTHONY PLANNED THIS ENTIRE THING OUT AS EARLY AS THE THURSDAY BEFORE CAYLEE EVER WENT MISSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And I believe that Kristina Chester was one of the real people that Casey used in creating her Zanny Zenaida. Alot of Kristina's information matches what Casey said about Zenaida and/or her sister.

Ilmycym....I believe what you are refering to is, Casey stating that, Caylee called her. She said Caylee, said,"Hi Mommy." She talked about her books and her shoes. Then the phone call was cut off, and she did not get a chance to speak to Zenaida.
Of course, when she tried to call back..phone disconnected, or some other lie. That is what you are most likely, thinking of. Of course, I don't believe for one minute this call ever took place, and phone records indicate, there was, no such call. I think KC, was trying to get the LE, to believe that Caylee was alive, imo..but definetly, another lie!!
Twinz, you make some very good points about the 9th and the 12th. All of them have crossed my mind over the past year. Regardless of the reasons why the dates were fudged by the A clan, purposely or not, I think the SA is going to hit hard with KC's original statement about June 9. The rest of the fam tried to correct that date (after LE found out) but KC never did. I believe the trial will open with the fact that KC had such little regard for Caylee, that KC really could not even remember the correct date. This, I think, will make a huge impact on the jury.

Well, Sibas... she kind of admits to Lee while she was in jail that she screwed up the date. He brings it up, and she's like, "Yeah, I realized that later" or something to that effect.
But I think you are right that she NEVER asked to have that part of her sworn testimony changed.
