That was a very insightful response, so thank you, did not even think of those scenerios. But I have not heard whether or not the Zenaida Gonzoloz who went to the apartments and is now suing her even has had or has Fernandez as one of her names, I have not heard Fernandez associated with her at all.

Can someone put that into the timeline of when that conversation came up? I thought it was when Caylee was a baby which would be before Zenaida visited the Sawgrass Apts.

Yes, that conversation took place when Caylee was a baby. It was before Casey and Jesse broke up. Basically, Casey's original (real) babysitter found out that Casey wasn't working, and she (the babysitter) quit (I believe she was a family friend).
So, the Grunds ended up babysitting Caylee a lot, and it got kind of old after a while. Finally, Mr. Grund cornered Casey one day as she came in the door and asked her how the search for a new babysitter was going. Casey immediately replied that she had found a new babysitter, and her name was Zenaida Gonzales.
How convenient.

We've learned that Casey googled the name Zenaida Gonzales in March of 2008, which was some time after the conversation with Mr. Grund took place. So, IMO, Casey probably came up with the name Zenaida Gonzales on the fly with Mr. Grund and then ended up building from that lie. I believe we should review the young adults that we know who has a connection with Casey Anthony...that has lived at the Sawgrass apartments previously or is living there now...

I believe there is a lot of activity going on between all of these folks with their ins and outs at the Sawgrass apartments...

Thank you for posting, I hadn't heard of the Google search of that name. It is a rather unique name, I'm wondering how it came to be, even if on the fly. Casey mentioned she knew her from a common friend (the name escapes me now Tom?) and that she was a nanny for him and she also knew her from Universal? Casey mentioned Zanny had a seasonal employee ID badge?

The name is so curious. Any follow up info on either of those two senarios as point of contact?

Casey told LE that Jeff Hopkins introduced her to Zenaida and that Zenaida was babysitting Jeff's son, Zachary.

Jeff Hopkins did work at Universal, but left a long time ago. He has NO children. He has never heard of Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzales and certainly never used her as a babysitter for his (nonexistent) son.

LE investiated the Zanny working at Universal claim....no Zanny, ever, working at Universal.

Casey just made...it...all...up.

I actually read somewhere on one of the posts that there was a Zenaida that attended high school with her. It is evident that she pulls her fake peoples names from actual names of people she knows, mix and match kind of thing, maybe? I also read that the Zenaida that went to the Sawgrass aprts, her ex-boyfriends myspace page has friends in common with Casey's friend list myspace page, so there is that link. Who the heck knows.

I also would just like to add, all these baby sitters she had ever since Caylee was born, and it is proven that she was fired from Universal in 4/2006, when Caylee was just 8 months old, and has had no job since (this is easily proven b/c can get social security and employee tax info to verify on her) what in the freaknn world did she need a baby sitter for even? What in the world did she do all day? This right there proves to me she was not a good mother, she just dumped her baby off on someone else to take care of, while she went out galivanting! Man, when I had my daughter at 20, and when she was 4 months old, I had to go back to work and take her to a daycare (wonder why her mother never mentioned daycare for Caylee?)I hated it! I would have given anything to be able to be the one with my daughter all day. This proves to me she was not a good mother and saw her daughter as an inconvenience. I honestly believe that was her motive. Because Caylee was almost 3, she was able to start communicating and answering questions, as like, how was your day?, what did you do today with Zanny, etc...she would be able to expose all of Casey's lies, b/c unfortunately this innocent, precious child was the only one who was privy to what Casey was really doing. IMO

I looked at the Colonia Alumni main site and sure enough there they were Zenaida Fernadez and Samantha Fernadez.

So.. I did an experiment , I did a search for me and a profile record was was created.

Now, it looks as if I am an alumni too! (according to that site anyway )

Lots of people I imagine were searching the schools records, so I think they could have been created the same way mine was.

If you go into the schools static records on PDF, there are no such people listed.

Funny how even us investigating can create things that lead us in crazy directions.

Of course I am not saying she did not pull names from people in her school but I went all through the PDF's and found no Zenaida's

That was good! Man, you are sharp, I even knew about that but did not even cross my mind, b/c I remember signing up on classmates/reunion.com a while back and I was able to create several monikers of my name, so good catch. Of course, this just brings it all back down to square 1. This is the only one thing that baffles me about this case, all others seem self explainitory (to me anyways)The name Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzaloz, Sawgrass Apartments and her visit there on June 17. Could it be possible that Casey was there that day (I did read from one witness who was an aprtment manager, that she was actively looking for apartments?) Just no one remembers seeing her. I would have a hard time remembering if any one was around, you don't think of those things until something like this happens, you know. Anyway, your insights always teach me something.

We have all been trying to figure out how and if there is any connection between Zenaida being at at Sawgrass that day and Casey.
But..Richard Grund says she used the full name as early as 2006!
She used the name Zany in texts to Tony Rusciano.
Others have said she used the name as well.

If Mr Grund is certain KC used the full name of ZFG, that girl DID NOT pull that name out of thin air on the spot.

There has to be a point of origin on or prior to the date of that conversation with Mr Grund.

I'm wondering if Kodak has checked their customer database, perhaps KC held on to a credit card receipt (wouldn't put it past her) when she worked as the photo girl at Universal.

Curious also if ZG ever had purse stolen or lost her Driver's License etc. KC pretty much steals anything moving.

There has to be a tie in somewhere. I hope the prosecution can make a case with this as to show pre-meditation for her crime.

Never thought of that, that is the best explanation I have heard so far. Did Zenaida happen to fill out an application at the apartments, some apartments charge you an application fee, she could have charged the fee on a credit card that Casey was following? I know, that is wayyyyy far fetched, but this girl did seem to get away with a lot of crap, stuff you and I could never do. Watching those Target tapes, I could not believe when she wrote not 1, not 2, but 3 checks and each time not one cashier looked at the driver's license she handed to them..I could not believe it! Every time I write a check they seem to want my birth certificate along with 3 ids! Insane.

I try not to let myself focus too much on the June 17 date when I think about the ZFG-Sawgrass connection.

I mean, it is significant that Caylee went missing one day before ZFG went to the Sawgrass....
BUT
it doesn't necessarily mean that Casey knew about ZFG at the Sawgrass ON the 17th.
She might have found out (SOMEHOW) about ZFG's visit a couple of days later.
She had 30 days to come up with a connection before anybody questioned her. She never connected ZFG and the Sawgrass to ANYBODY prior to July 15.
