I mean, it is significant that Caylee went missing one day before ZFG went to the Sawgrass.... BUT before anybody questioned her. She never connected ZFG and the Sawgrass to ANYBODY prior to July 15.
That is a good answer. I think I have to leave this one alone. I always connected it, because ever since I started researching this case, the timelines, etc, I have always felt Caylee died on June 16, that is why I keep connecting it to ZFG's visit on the 17th. That brings it into perspective, you are right, she did have 30 days, didn't she. That skank!

That 30 day head start almost allowed her to get away with it. If George and Cindy hadn't picked up the car.... If Cindy hadn't called 911 in a panic.... Casey might still be partying, adding to her tattoo collection, and scoping out new boyfriends.

I know, thank goodness Amscott had her car towed. I would not put it past her to planning on picking up the car, and then planning to kill her parents...why she had to make it seem she was out of town, maybe? I don't know, all I know is she is one sick skank and I pray everynight for that little girls soul.

One thing about this that I just thought of. When did she decide NOT to go to Puerto Rico? Was that decision made prior to the car getting towed or not? When she realized on the 30th that the car was towed, maybe that messed up the plan in some way that originally included the trip to PR (which could have also fit into some sort of alibi). She decided not to go as she had to take care of things with the body, or without the car she couldn't get to the airport, etc.

According to the FBI interviews...Cindy says that she and Casey have always been...very close... Cindy had to know that something was up and not right during those 31 days without talking to Caylee.... This has been asked before by other people...and I'll ask it again...what grandmother who has seen, cared, fed, and cuddled her one and only granddaughter on a daily basis....would go for 31 days and not see her...and not get the LE involved sooner? A loving and caring grandmother would have already called the police and filed a complaint...and got the LE involved sooner... And it would have been a legitimate complaint...considering that she was Caylee primary care giver.... I believe that is one of the reason that Cindy was quick to wash the clothes and clean the knife that was found in the trunk...before making that first 911 call...they already knew something was up and not right...JMO

Yeah, why Cindy didn't know to go looking at the Sawgrass Apts for Casey and Caylee? If Casey had been taking Caylee there for months, Cindy would have known about it. Even if Cindy herself had never been there, I'm betting she would have looked it up on a map and staked it out, waiting for Casey and Caylee to show up. Not once, in any LE interview, news interview, text message, taped phone call, nothing, does Cindy ever, on her own, independent of Casey's June 16 kidnapping story, link Casey, Zanny, Caylee, and the Sawgrass Apartments. And, even more telling, not once prior to the release of Casey's LE interview on July 15/16, does Cindy ask, beg, demand that LE go over to the Sawgrass and check out Zanny's apartment, where her granddaughter had been staying every day while her mother went to work. We all know the answer, of course. It's because, prior to the story Casey told to LE on July 15/16, Casey never mentioned Zanny, Caylee, and the Sawgrass Apts in the same sentence. To anybody.

Curiously, in Dante's interview he states that he had a friend who used to live in the building next to him, the far left apt, on the 2nd floor. This just so happens to be the apt that KC said she dropped Caylee off at. Dante's girlfriend (maybe ex-girlfriend. can't remember) happens to be KC's best friend Annie. Who apparently at 1st refused to talk to the cops, then later interviewed with them, but (to my knowledge) her interview has not been released. The ZFG thing is mind blowing. Did people have to sign a log at all? Something that could be seen by others coming to view the complex? Maybe KC came to check out apts and saw her name on that log and compiled her story from there?!?!

I started a thread about Casey's cell phone calls, and marenaberryjo posted some great links to mapping the calls.....
Based on what I've seen from the links, there are no cell phone pings anywhere near the Sawgrass between June 15 and June 27.
So, it seems unlikely that Casey came across Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzales on June 17 at the Sawgrass or learned about her visit there by somehow getting the info at the Sawgrass (being in the main office and seeing the visitor card, for example).

I have an opinion on this but don't know exactly.
Casey had been researching all sorts of things from neck breaking to one tree hill about the nanny kidnapping.
I think she started to create her story with the simple name "Zanny" because of Xanax. Or zanny the nanny.
I believe that on the 17th, when the real Zenaida went to the sawgrass apartments, Casey was there, outside watching for anyone to pin this on. I believe she saw this woman and seen that she was being showed an apartment. She then called her cop friend, the one who lied to detectives 2 different times and was fired, and got him to run her tag to find out who she was.
She thought this was a great person to pin this on being that she did not live there and knew that if the cops came to this apartment later, they would not find her.
