Casey is so self-centered and has relied on her 'feminine charms' that now she is being humbled. Even make-up can change a whole persons personality. She now realizes that she may have to really show who Casey really is. She has no one that she can taunt and tease, play games with, make jealous, for that is what she did with all the men. She had Jesse in the corner, actually taking Tony to get Jesse jealous/approval. Talking to Tony R and all the while talking to him about what Jesse and he talked about. So she played games with each of those men to get that affirmation from the men to fill all the voids, the holes to fill, that she couldn't fill EVER with her whole made up persona. Anyone that truly feels confident they "just are" they don't have to prove anything to anyone, dress provacatively to prove to anyone that they are better than others, more seductive/s e x y than others. Make up a whole career to prove to others that they are worthy. But her whole adult life she depended upon her looks to lure and befriend others. Now she realizes that this will not work any longer. I remember the hearing when Baez had to prove he had no contract for a book or how he was getting paid. She was pulling down her shirt and stood up and making eyes at the judge. See this worked. But the men got what they wanted from her.....but she was never able to keep them, except for Jesse, but she wanted those that she couldn't keep. Of course she never saw this as her character flaw, it was because of Caylee. It was all Caylee's fault. For Tony R, didn't want any child around unless the baby was watched by another and Tony L only wanted boy babies.
I really think that her physical transformation is also a result of the self-hatred and blame of others that oozes inside of her...
Can you imagaine how her parents must feel?..I hope that Cindy is shamed and embarrassed by what that caged "ANIMAL" has now become...She is no longer the "SPECIAL" PRINCESS that Cindy believes her to be...
When I first saw those photos, I almost ---for 2 seconds- felt sorry for her but, then, of course I was over it.!
Oh, this isn't the only thread in which it was suggested that the skin condition is related to character. It seems kind of medieval to think that bad on the inside means bad inevitably manifests on the outside.
The mind-body connection is an accepted modality in orthodox medicine. Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, a premier teaching hospital in NYC has just such a department...Can the mind affect the skin...Most emphatically 'YES'...Adolescent acne often worsens under stress; There is a medical diagnostic code: Delusions of Dermatitis wherein the pt. senses a skin lesion and will scratch it raw....it is a psychic manifestation of anxiety...KC can be somaticizing...Somatic complaints are valid; they range from stress induced headaches, stomach aches by young children anxious about a test, or even chronic fatigue which may have it's origins in depression....So yes, skin is the largest organ of the body and KC's condition MAY be related to anxiety or depression....or even unresolved guilt...
