I watch FitTV frequently. I noticed that the bust of the host of one exercise shows I watch NEVER get in her way. She looks to be at least a C cup. I want to know who makes her workout tops. I am a DD and would like to workout like she does but my bust is noncooperative - I am seriously thinking of getting an ACE bandage and bind them for the workout! Does anyone know anything or have any suggestions?
You are preaching to the choir, girl! I am a DD as well. I used to wear 2 bras to workout as I enjoy jumping in hi/lo classes and participating in higher level drills. I found the Champion line of bras. They have one with underwire. I buy it smaller; in the 34-36CD size. This does the work of the Ace bandage by compressing you a bit but not with any discomfort. The bra also has a T back shape so you can wear it with cuter exercise tops. I just buy L or XL tops at Wal-Mart, Target or Kohls. Just go to Champions web site to view the bra. If you have any outlet stores near you, you may find it cheaper at a bra outlet....it is DEFINITELY worth the money. Good luck!!
Hi all, I learned about this one from watching Oprah. It's called Enell. I bought one and it's probably what you're looking for. It is expensive but well worth the money if you don't want yourself getting in the way. Come to think of it -- I can't wear mine anymore. What size exactly are you? I could sell you mine which was only used a few times before I lost a bunch of weight.
Hey, if any of you can recommend more plus size workout wear places - places with high perfomance fabrics that wick sweat please please share! I've been to all that I can find online and most of them are way too expensive for me. Right now I'm in desperate need of a lightweight wind jacket to wear while I ride my bike. Any suggestions? Everything I find is too narrow around the hips. Thanks!
I came across a line of plus size workout wear at a Catherine's a couple years ago. I liked the capris and sports bra so much that I checked online to see if the brand was sold anywhere else. It is: www.abigattitude.com The workout clothes I've gotten (2 bras, cami top, shorts, capris, and leggings) are all dri-weave, comfortable (the shorts do not ride up) and I haven't bought another brand since. It's definitely worth checking out.
