My goal by june (end of school term) to lose 40-50
lbs.I think its pretty reasonable. Smile

I want to drop 59lbs by the end of Sept. I started Nov 29th, 2003 and have lost 16lbs already!

I have already lost 115 lbs. since January 9th of last year. My goal is to lose at least 30 more. I went from 309 lbs. to now 193. It seems to me the last stretch is harder than the long haul. Any suggestions? Wink

wow thats great keep up the good work Wink Smilei can see your determianation has brought you far.I dont have any suggestions for you though im new at this dieting stuff my self.Ok well here it goes for me as of january 1st i was 56 pounds over weight it is now february 10th and i have lost 13 pounds.i have no set date to get the weight off im just trying to get it off period lol.

Congrats to you Brenmeg3!!!!!!! Super job! I started trying to lose weight back in Nov. 03 and have successfully lost 59 lbs so far! Good luck to you on your next 30 lbs! You've come a long way and I am proud of you! Smile

I have been trying to lose weight myself and have successfully lost 59 lbs. since Nov. '03! I changed my eating, no sweets, no softdrinks, no fried foods, etc..just the good stuff! Then I started working out with FIT TV, my favorite program is the Sharon Mann show, it's very informative and you work your butt off! I had been a member in the gym and had hired a personal trainer but felt so self concious about the way I looked I found that I just wasn't putting my all into the workouts! My advice to you is to work out at home if possible, you will find that you don't have to dress up and look your best, and if you "goof" up no one is watching..LOL! Maybe you could purchase some workout DVD's online or in stores, I have found that hi/lo cardio helped me to start dropping the pounds, now that I have lost I am doing weights and strength training, walking, bicycling, and just moving! I work out 30 minutes 3 times a day with cardio, just try it, it's hard at first but before you know it you'll get the hang of it! Good Luck to you! You can do it if you try! Wink
