I am trying to lose 55lbs by April 17th. I have already lost 5lbs. I am on a weightloss program and have just added exercise to my schedule to help me lose inches and retain muscle. Wish me luck.

Well this particular plan that I am enrolled in has figured that it should take me about 17 weeks from beginning on Dec. 16th to lose 55lbs (about 2-3lbs per week), which equates to around April 16th. I am graduating from college in May and my original goal was just to start the new era in my life as a new and more healthy me. Hope that takes some of the mystery out of it for you. Well this is the start of trying to lose weight again. I'm 43 I have three children, I would always gain a lot weight when I got pregnant, then after I had them I would lose all my weight by starving myself, throwing up & laxative. Then when I was in my late thirty's I just decided to eat. I don't think that I really ate a lot, but on came the pounds. I'm 5'4 & 200 pounds. This time I would like to do it write.
I started watching what I ate and my poritions on January 9th. Today January 23 I am 10.5 lbs lighter. I have started watching Fit TV and recording Carribean Workout and Fit with Shannon Mann every morning from 7-8. I do those when I get home from class or work 5 days a week and I have noticed how much happier I am and full of energy. I currently weigh 260#s and would like to be down to 150#s (give or take a few). I really do not care what the scale looks like just my body. I graduate in June and would like to be down 3 pant sizes by then. Eveyone else, keep up the good work.
