I've noticed Mike's voice has been used on so many shows, UFC, Ghost Hunters, Dirty Jobs (duh) along with Deadliest Catch. I mean that's really cool I wonder how does get picked to be a narrator in all those kick shows. Hey Mike, maybe you should do some movie trailers. I can hear it all now "In the world where cleanliness doesn't exist. He must get ready for one last dirty job." lol Good job Mike, keep up the good work!

Hi RuneRelic,

Just wanted to say hi and welcome! I agree, Mike does have a distinctive voice. Very easy on the ears. I can definitely imagine him doing movie trailers. I can just see the theatre now when his voice comes on the big screen. There would be hushed whispers all over the place, "Hey, that's Mike Rowe!"

Again, welcome!

Hi Rune!

I agree, I love that voice.

I wonder how he first got into voice-over work. It's something I personally would love to do.

Welcome to the MB, RuneRelic.

Yes, I adore his voice as well. It's a sonorous voice--rich in promise.

Hi Runerelic,
Welcome to the MB.Stay and have some fun.

Mike's voice does have a deep destinctive timbre.
There is something in its' tone and substance that gently brushes past the ears and sweetly caresses those sheltered quiet recesses of the mind.

You're making me shiver over here and it ain't 'cause I'm cold!

That's certainly a voice made for whispering sweet nothings.... and other things... and I'm shutting up now before my inner she-wolf escapes... *indistinct whine in the back of her throat*

I love Ghost Hunters and Dirty Jobs, but I wish Mikes humor came out in the narration of GH more! Jason, Grant and the crew are intertaining enough but Mikes voice just adds something to it Razz. Just wish Mike could make his own comment now and thenRazz

I've tried watching GH a couple times, but was always so busy making my own inane commentary, I didn't even realize it was Mike's voice!!

I'll have to try and watch it more often.
