I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you to Mike and the crew. I was in the hospital from August 11 2007 until January 5 2008 after a major motorcycle accident that left me paralyzed from the chest down. I watched every episode I could while I was there and laughed all the time. So thank you for helping me get through that time with a smile. Please keep up the great work.
It's nice to hear about the positive effects Mike and DJ have on the viewers, so thanks for sharing!
Just ignore some of the "dust-ups", as they are referred to, on the other threads. These happen from time to time, but do not represent the true spirit of the message board.
I hope you continue to heal and will post here again!
Mclair I am happy for your recovery. Come back and visit and ignore what you feel as an adult you ought to ignore. You could probably teach us a lot of appreciation for what we have.
So sorry to hear of your accident but sure am glad you found DJ and had something to help you get through it! Please come back and visit often. We can keep you company.
Welcome, mclair, so sorry to hear of your accident. Your positive attitude will see you through. Keep laughing, friend. Please keep us posted as you recover. I will be thinking of you and sending you positive vibes. Hang in there, brave one.
Welcome mclair. We all have that feeling about Mike. I can giggle just thinking about him driving the slop cart. Glad the show helped you through some rough times. Stick around, someone is here 24/7.
You've picked not only the right show to watch, but the right group to participate in...We're a tad crazy here, but hearts as big as the great outdoors.
Stop in with updates on your recovery and remember that we are a keyboard away for a few laughes.
Hi mclair, I'd like to join everyone in welcoming you to the MB. I'm glad your here.
As some have already warned you ,we can get a little strange at times in here.
We are sorta like your weird Uncle Frank who is always telling off colour jokes when the new Minister from Church comes to visit and he never understands that subtle "sign " you try to give him to make him stop and he totally embarrasses you but then he's also the guy that got out of bed that stormy night to come and help you when your car broke down without a second of hesitation....
Yeah!!, we're kinda like that.
So stay around ! Have some fun! ....and remember Uncle Frank(?)!!
I hope Mike sees this and gives you a proper welcome.
