As you can see, I'm new to this board. And honestly, I'm new to the show. I recently caught the 150th Dirty Job show and instantly became enamoured with Mike Rowe and fan of the show.
All day during my very unexciting office work, my partner and I surfed the website and laughed at the many video clips. At one point, we had the volume up during the video blog of Mike Rowe singing show tunes when a woman came into our office to pick up something for her company. She was about to greet us when she stopped suddenly, "Is that Mike Rowe singing? Oh my gawd! He's so hot!" And then she left with her package as quickly as she came.
ROTFLMAO It was a most unexpected yet amusing moment, I was moved to register here and share it with fans.

Disappointment is an understatement when I received my SASE back. When I had sent a personalized photo request (for my wife's stocking stuffer) off, it was stated here that given Mike's schedule, not to expect anything for several months and I didn't. However, my joy at receiving the envelope back was quickly quelled when I opened it only to Discover a pre-print image inside. A pre-print. Wee. So much for my wife's gift. So be forewarned, folks. Success has claimed another victim.

Me, too, and thanks for the reply. My main point, though, was that a pre-print was sent when he stated that he would at least sign a photo. I'm not a reseller (which is why I had asked for personlization) but I'd have rather had stick figure of Mike drawn in crayon by his third cousin than a machine created artifact.
Hmmm, maybe Mike could do a segment on how dirty a job it can be being a celebrity with demanding fans... ink stains, writers' cramp, bleary eyes...
Hey, i have taken a break for a little while ffrom dirty jobs but im back and i have one question, now i know im going to sound like a noob but i have been reading and who is this "Barsky"
"Barsky" is Dave Barsky, field producer, for Dirty Jobs. Mike usually manages to get him into the show at least once, especially in the newer episodes.
Dave is a good guy and often answers questions in the "Dirty Crew" forum.
