Have to tell you, I received my photo a couple of months ago (thank you!) - put it in a frame and hung it on the wall of my government-issued cubicle. I now have more people coming over to talk about "Dirty Jobs" than anyone could think possible. Unfortunately, the demographic is less than pleasing! First, most are men, "Oohh, do you know him? I love dat guy!" And, most of those men are scary - almost a DJ episode in the making. Others are women - with favorable comments and many who enjoy watching the show with their kids - normal. I'm concerned about the first group...for your sake! There's a difference between "dirty" and "unwashed"!!

This is my poor attempt to post a message for Mike. I've been all over this site trying to figure out how the heck to post a message. Finally, I just closed my eyes and pointed. So here I am.

My comment has nothing to do about New Photos. (Not that I wouldn't mind having a photo of Mike). I just wanted to let Mike know that his smile is very contagious. Thank you for sharing your humor and quick wit. Even on days when I feel like "poop" you have managed to remind me that we shouldn't take life so seriously. I hope you always have a reason to smile.

Is that picture the one where Mike is wearing a pink baseball cap backwards? I think I have that one as a wallpaper.

I'm watching the "suspension bridge" episode is great! I LOVE the way you, um, painted that cable with your hands!

Mike, I am a young widow (54) and live alone now (kids have left home too!), so I usually am alone. Your show has given me a reason to laugh again. I caught myself laughing at some of your antics and try to never miss your show. I don't find a lot of shows now a days worth watching but Dirty Jobs is my number one show!!

I just wanted you and everyone on the show, you've made my Tuesdays!!

I've had some dirty jobs in my younger days but thank goodness I have a clean one now.

Please share with me how to get accepted into the personal zone permission . I have tried for several days to no avail. Is this something special where only a few are allowed.
