Hi Mike! Just wanted to say that I love your show and keep up the good work. I may need you to come and clean my daughter's room-that is a pretty dirty job. Tomorrow is my birthday, we are the same age (1962 was a good year!). I hope the best years are still to come. Keep on getting dirty!

So has anyone done the photo request thing recently? About how long did it take?

I work for a custom picture framing place and we're supposed to be redoing our display pieces. I would seriously LOVE to frame a signed pic of Mike to put on display as a showcase of my **SKILLZ** as a custom framer, but obviously I cant wait the required 4-6 years :P

So anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Mike,
Just wondering. Do you type your messages, or does somebody else do it for you? I'm just wondering because there are a lot of people that can't type, or work a computer.
(for ex. my DAD. He cant type, or do anything that is computer related.)

Mike, my little man Zac is 3 years old, and he is always asking me, "Mommy, can we watch the dirty man?" "Mommy, is the dirty man on TB?" (He can't say his V's yet..so cute). He loves to watch your show and when it does come on, he just yells and hollars and jumps up and down. Then, he is as quiet as a mouse. Thank you for that! Mommy needs a break every now and then no matter what time of day. The reruns that come on daily are worth their weight in gold! Keep up the great work and keep on gettin' dirty, preferalbly here in good ole' NC!

I wasn't sure where to post anything that Mr. Mike Rowe would see so I am putting it here. Please feel free to correct and or direct me to the proper place.

My name is Jamie and I am from South Carolina. I just wanted to say that we (Starbucks in Florence SC) enjoyed your visit with us. I hope that your experience with our store went well. And I wanted to thank you for taking the time to take a picture with me for my son, Andrew, he loved it.

Maybe next time you can make some mocha ( thats the melted chocolate for the drinks), its a "messy" job, lol.

We enjoyed having you and your crew, stop back by on your way through Florence South Carolina some time.

Hello Mike,

Just wanted to say I watch Discovery Channel way more than I used to because you've made it dirtier and that's not a bad thing! Question: How does your girlfriend deal with your dirtiness? I mean all that poo, dirt, sewage, muck, grime, sludge, slime, etc must have some kind of afteraffect. Some of that stuff must not wash off so easily. Its no wonder your girlfriend has huge loads of laundry. Do you end up smelling for days and she won't go near you? What are your cleaning rituals (if any)? Do you use industrial strength soap? Just curious seeing as how you get so incredibly.. well dirty!

Thanks,
@nnie

1. They aren't BIG enough.
2. They aren't DIRTY enough.

In an effort to rectify this oversight, and celebrate more new episodes, The Network has allocated several dozen dollars to upgrade my publicity shot. The new photo addresses both concerns quite nicely. It is of the standard 8x10 variety, and features me, covered in charcoal dust, holding my filthy hands toward the camera, and screaming in abject horror. The expression captures what I believe to be the true measure of pain and regret that have become hallmarks of my large and filthy face. You can obtain your very own signed copy - should you desire such a thing - by sending a request to the production company. The request should read:

PHOTO REQUEST
Pilgrim Films and Television
6180 Laurel Canyon Blvd. #350
North Hollywood, CA 91606

Be sure to include a self-addressed stamped envelope with sufficient postage. (You’d be amazed how many forget.) Please make sure the return envelope is large enough to hold an 8”x10” photo. Please address the envelope exactly as written above. Please do not include anything else with a photo request. This includes lengthy letters, crocheted mittens, suggestions for dirty jobs, love notes for Barsky, boudoir imagery for me, or baked goods of any type. The aforementioned are all welcomed and appreciated, but must not be included with a PHOTO REQUEST. It only confuses things, and makes Barsky anxious.

Please allow 4-6 years for delivery.
If you would like the photo personalized, please allow much, much longer.

Seriously,
Mike

PS
Ivy – Please also remove the sticky that says I’m unplugging for a bit. I'm not.

Thanks

Mike

well im with th other the other lady i would rather have one with you with out a shirt and showing off your guns. lol i guess you dont often chat with your fans. i dont see a place to click on to do so. but i guess it would be to hard for you to keep up with all the hits anyway. oooooooooooh well. my job isnt dirty at all, its quiet pleasnt, i work night audit in a local hotel that has won the jd power award twice. (that means we are clean and nice). i have seen some that you stay in and i realize that you have to stay in budget and im sure that if you talk to the owner who also has a construction company he would let you stay here for free. it is a very nice hotel for the area. if you want more info just email me here and i will tell you more. but im sure you are very busy and wont have time. you take care and keep safe. vgodess492006@yahoo.com

New to this. This is the first time I have visited this site, wanted to know what was coming on for Dirty Jobs. Pretty heavy stuff in here. Would not call myself a fan, Mike reminds me of an old boyfriend except he is better looking, younger and has somewhat of a normal job. I guess I will have to work through it in therapy. However, my 21 daughters days he is hot for an old guy.

Hi everyone! I've been reading these posts for a few months now but never really knew what to write...until now. I sent for an autographed picture of Mike about 4 weeks ago for my non-profit's charity auction, and I just received a great picture today of Mike in his shark protection suit!! Have heart, the photos will come, just be patient!

And thanks again, Mike, this should help raise a lot of money at the auction. We appreciate it greatly!

Hi Mike, are you still sending out pics? I also have suggestions for dirty jobs..Rotten potatoes, the worst thing to smell...also carrion, animal that has been dead for a long time..my hound dogs loved the smell..I thought it was dreadful..as for the potatoes, the stench is dreadful, you smell it long before you can find it in the bag..FrownFrown..I am 73 years old and started keeping bees last year as a new hobby, so I love your segments on bees..
