i would like to say that my wife and i really enjoy watching your show. i don't think anybody else could do it any better. and from where i'm sitting, i think you should feel very fortunate to have such a job as this (as i know you do), to go places, see things, meet folks from everywhere, and experience what the "other guy" does for a living. i envy you. i would have loved to have had a job like yours. i try to encourage my son to give jobs like this some thought when he wonders what to be "when he grows up". and being familiar with many of the jobs you encounter, just adds more pleasure to watching you present another professionally done show with just as very professional crew members to make one fine show. not to mention, if one may be so bold, since there is such a lack of quality shows out there, this just makes it better to look forward to watching your show,Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe. i better stop now, keep up the good work, and to whoever it may concern, give this man a raise.

I just watched your barrel making episode. I noticed that you straddled the wire cable when you were winching the staves of the barrel together. Please don't do this. It'll make a hen out of a rooster real quick (or worse) if the cable breaks. You could end up singing like Dolly Parton. Besides, I enjoy your show and your great sense of humor and would hate to see it end because of and injury to you. Take care and BE CAREFUL!!!
